NIMCET Result 2024: Check Dates, Steps to Download

NIMCET result 2024 will be released on the official website on nimcet.in. NIMCET 2024 is likely to release in Jun 2024. The candidates can download their scorecards after entering the user ID and password into the NIMCET result login portal. NIMCET 2024 candidates who has obtained the required qualifying score in the entrance exam are eligible for counselling. 

Candidates must connect to the website with their application form number and password to view their results. NIMCET exam result pdf will include information on scores and ranks. Candidates who pass the exam will be given consideration for admission to the NIMCET institutes. Seats will be assigned through NIMCET counselling 2024 based on their performance in the admission exam. A total of NIMCET 805 MCA seats will be filled by the participating NITs.

NIMCET 2024 Results Dates

Candidates must check NIMCET 2024 results on the dates mentioned below. 

Please note that based on the marks obtained, candidates are called for the counselling session. Colleges admit candidates into the MCA courses of NITs based on the reservation system as stated by the Government of India.

Steps to Download NIMCET Result 2024

Students must follow the steps stated below to download the NIMCET Result 2024.

• Step 1: Candidates must visit the official website nimcet.in.
• Step 2: Click on the link that will redirect the candidate to the page where the result can be viewed.
• Step 3: Enter the necessary details such as to admit card number and password.
• Step 4: The result will be displayed on the screen.
• Step 5: Candidates can download the scorecard displayed on the screen and take a printout of it.
• Step 6: This scorecard should be taken to the counselling as per NIMCET 2024 counselling schedule.

NIMCET Results 2024 via Email

Candidates must note that the official brochure of the NIMCET 2024 examination will be sent to download for those candidates who have secured the qualifying score only. It is advised to candidates check their spam folders to ensure no emails from the council are missed. The email will also contain the login credentials specifically given to each qualifying candidate to use during the time of choice filling. 

NIMCET 2024 Qualifying Criteria 

The score obtained by the candidates will be multiplied by certain factors. After multiplying such values, the maximum score that can be obtained by the candidate will be 1000. The table gives the multiplying factor for each subject.

• Candidates will be given ranks based on their total out of 1000.
• If the total score of the two candidates is the same, then the candidates will be given ranks based on their marks in Mathematics.
• If the score in Mathematics is also the same, then the other subjects are considered.
• If two candidates have scored equally in all the subjects, then based on their age (date of birth) candidates will be given ranks.
• Based on all these criteria, candidates will be ranked.

NIMCET 2024 Tie-Breaking Criteria

If there arises a situation where two or more candidates have tied in the NIMCET Result 2024, then the following criteria are used to break the tie.

• Candidates who score more marks in mathematics are given higher priority.
• If the tie still persists then logical reasoning, after that Computer awareness is given priority, and whoever gets higher marks in those will be ranked higher.
• Finally, the candidate who is older (as per the date of birth given in the application form) is given the higher rank.

Note: Candidates who are obtaining zero or negative scores in the Math section or overall in all sections will be considered disqualified.

NIT MCA Seat Matrix 2024

NIT Seat matrix will be announced on the official website. However, candidates can refer to the previous year seat matrix below. There are a total of 951 seats available in all the participating National Institutes of Technology in NIMCET 2024. Candidates will have the option of enrolling into any of these institutions for MCA programs. The breakdown of the seat matrix is given below. 

NIMCET 2024 Counselling and Seat Allotment

Shortlisted candidates can avail of the services of NIMCET 2024 counselling. They are listed based on the rank secured by them on the merit list. The release of the NIMCET Result 2024 will be done before the commencement of the counselling sessions. 

Candidates awarded seats in the first and second rounds can book the seat allotted to them by paying an initial fee of INR 10,000. The seat allotment letter will be sent after the payment is done. An upgrade of seat options is available for students who wish to wait for the third and final round of NIMCET 2024 counselling process.
