- In an event where two or more candidates score the same marks in Section A or Sections A+B or Sections A+B+C, the candidate having more marks in Section A is given a higher CDAC C-CAT result rank.
- If the tie remains, then a candidate with a higher value in the ratio (ratio of ‘the number of correct answers/number of attempted questions’) in a specific section required for that category of courses is given the higher rank.
- If a tie is still not resolved, then both candidates are given the same CDAC C-CAT rank 2024.
