GPAT 2019 Exam Pattern

  • Type of questions: The GPAT 2019 question paper will consist of objective type questions. There will be only multiple choice questions (MCQ's), where you will have to select one answer for every question.

  • Answering Scheme: Candidate can easily navigate back and forth from one question to another while writing the GPAT 2019 online test. There is no hard and fast rule to go on from one question to next in a sequence.

  • Time Duration: The total time duration of the GPAT 2019 test is 180 minutes i.e. 3 hours. The candidate will have to complete the test within the given time period. The candidates must report at GPAT Exam centres atleast 1 hour early.

  • Total Marks: A total of 125 questions will be asked in the GPAT 2019 exam, which will carry 500 marks.

  • Rough Work: For calculations, you will get rough sheets during the GPAT 2019 exam.

  • Marking Scheme: For every correct answer 4 marks will be allotted and for every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
  • Admit Cards: The candidates must not forget to bring the GPAT Admit Card on the exam date.

  • GPAT previous year question: The candidates must refer to previous year question to understand the exam pattern.

If the candidate finishes the exam early, he will not be able to leave the exam hall until 3 hours are over.

Hence, he would have to stay in the exam hall for the whole of 3 hours.

What will be the time extension given to visually impaired students?

Visually Impaired or Cerebral Palsy Candidates will be given a time extension of twenty minutes for every hour of the test

Hence, for a 3-hour test, the candidates will get a total of 'One Hour' extra.

Am I supposed to return the scratch papers or rough work after the exam ?
