AU AIMEE application form 2023 will be released on Mar 7, 2023, tentatively. Applicants can fill out AU AIMEE application form 2023 until May 8, 2023. 

Annamalai University All India Medical Entrance Exam Pharmacy (AU AIMEE Pharmacy) is conducted annually by Annamalai University (Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu) for admission into different Pharmaceutical courses, including B.Pharma, M.Pharma, D.Pharma, and Pharma-D Courses. About AU AIMEE Pharmacy

AU AIMEE Pharmacy is conducted every year by Annamalai University. The courses offered through AU AIMEE 2023 are B.Pharma, M.Pharma, D.Pharma, and Pharma-D Courses. This is a National Level Entrance Examination. AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023 will be conducted through Offline, i.e., Pen & Paper-based Test (PBT). Annamalai University exam result is usually announced shortly.

AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023 Important Dates (Tentative)

The Application Form will be available on the official website, i.e., coe.annamalaiuniversity.ac.in. After successfully registering for the AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023, the admit card will be available online for candidates. AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023 will be conducted offline, i.e., Pen & Paper-based Test (PBT). The result can be checked on the official website a few days after the exam. Candidates who have cleared the AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023 will be called for the counselling process

AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023 Eligibility

• Educational Qualification:
  • B.Pharm: The candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology/ Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and Mathematics as a mandatory subject with a minimum of 45% marks for General/ OBC category candidates and a minimum of 35% marks for SC/ ST category candidates.
  • The candidates must have secured a minimum of 35% marks in English for all category students.
  • Candidates From Tamil Nadu: Students of class VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII can apply without a 'Domicile Certificate,' but students from outside Tamil Nadu need to provide a 'Domicile Certificate.' Children of All India Services cadre are eligible to apply.
  • B.Pharm (Lateral Entry): The candidates must have passed a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) with a minimum of 50% marks from Annamalai University or an equivalent university.
  • M.Pharm: The candidate must have passed B.Pharm with a minimum of 50% marks from Annamalai University or an equivalent university. Candidates must have cleared the HSC exam with Chemistry and Physics as compulsory subjects along with Botany, Biology, Zoology, and Mathematics.
  • D.Pharm: The candidates must have passed the HSC examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology/ Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and Mathematics mandatory subject. Candidates who have B.Sc. In Physics, Biology Chemistry or Mathematics are also eligible.
• Age limit: The candidates should be 17 years of age on 31-12-2023.
• Nationality: The candidates should be a citizen of India.
• NRI Candidates: Overseas Citizens of India are eligible to apply if registered under section 7A of the Citizenship Act 1955 (Central Act 57 of 1955).

AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023 Application Form

• Availability: The Application Form is available in three ways: Postal, Administrative Office (Cash Counter), Online.
• Postal: Candidates must send a letter requesting for Application Form along with a DD of INR 300
• Administrative Office (Cash Counter): Visit the Administrative Office and pay INR 300 registration fee and collect the Application Form
• Online: Visit the official website, log in with the credential provided during the registration process, and pay the application fee to fill out the application form and submit the form.
• Registration Date: The Application Form will be available on the official website, i.e., coe.annamalaiuniversity.ac.in from Mar 7, 2023, and the last date to submit the Application Form is on May 8, 2023, tentatively.
• Registration Fee: Candidates have to pay INR 300/- (Non-Refundable) through online mode of Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.

Steps to follow for registration:

• Step 1: Visit the official website i.e. coe.annamalaiuniversity.ac.in
• Step 2: Register with an email ID and create a password.
• Step 3: Pay the fees via available payment modes.
• Step 4: Fill up all the required details in the form.
• Step 5: Click 'View' to recheck your details and change or edit if any if required.
• Step 6: Print the final form
• Step 7: Send the printed form along with required certificates and documents via Speed Post/ Registered mail.
• Step 8: Send the form to " The Registrar, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar - 608002, Cuddalore, District, Tamil Nadu.

AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023 Admit Card

• Admit Card: AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023 the Admit Card or the Annamalai University exam hall ticket 2023 will be available online for candidates on tentative on May 23, 2023.
• Details on Admit Card: AU AIMEE Admit Card will contain the Exam Center, Date, and Time details along with the basic details of the candidate such as Name and Roll Number.
• Exam Centre: The candidates must carry the Admit Card and a Government Id proof to the Exam Center on the exam day.

• The AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023 will be conducted in the below-listed affiliate institutes of Annamalai University:

• Note: The candidate must be present one hour before the Exam Centre for the verification. If not, the candidates won't be allowed to write the examination. Candidates have to carry Admit Card and any Government Id proof to the Exam Centre on the day of the examination.

• Mode: AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023 will be conducted Offline, i.e., Pen & Paper-based Test (PBT)
• Question Type: The question paper will be of Multiple Choice Question's (MCQ's)
• No. of Papers: Section 1 - Biology (Botany & Zoology) and Section 2 - Science (Physics & Chemistry)
• Duration: The time given to complete the examination will be 3 hours, i.e., 180 minutes.
• Marks: Section 1 - Biology (Botany - 60 & Zoology - 60) and Section 2 - Science (Physics - 60 & Chemistry - 60)
• Medium: The question paper will be in English medium.

AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023 Syllabus

• Syllabus: The syllabus for the AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023 is based on the syllabus of the High School Certificate Examination, Tamil Nadu Board for Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
• Books: The candidates can refer to the books which are recommended by the Annamalai University or the books which are referred to during the HSC examination.

AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023 Results

• Results: Annamalai University exam result 2023 will be declared on the official website tentatively for all the candidates on the result date to be announced.
• Normalization:
  • Normalization of marks in AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023 for courses like B.Pharmacy and D.Pharmacy will be done based on marks obtained by the candidate in the relevant subjects in qualifying examinations conducted by various boards and authorities.
  • The marks obtained in the qualifying examination conducted by various boards and authorities will be equated with the qualifying examination conducted by the State Board of Tamil Nadu.
• Ranking:
  • The ranking will be made on merit based on marks obtained by the eligible candidates in the science subjects in the qualifying examinations reduced to the base of 200 marks. The marks obtained through different boards will be taken into account after normalization.
  • The ranking will be done on the basis of total marks obtained in science subjects after normalization of marks computed to a maximum of 200.
• Merit List: Merit list for both B. Pharmacy and D.Pharmacy will be available on the official website of Annamalai University. The Merit List will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Annamalai University's distance education exam timetable will also be released during the same phase.

AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023 Counselling

• Counselling: Soon after the Annamalai University exam result is declared, candidates who have cleared the AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2023 will be called for the counselling process. The counselling date is yet to be announced.,
• Counselling Call Letter: Candidates must download the counselling call letter from the official website. Candidates are sent an individual SMS confirming the counselling call letter’s announcement on the official website. Carrying the Annamalai University exam hall ticket along with you is advised.
• Counselling Fee:
  • For B. Pharmacy, the general category candidates, must pay INR 2000, and For D.Pharmacy INR 500
  • For B. Pharmacy, the SC/ SCA/ ST candidates must pay INR 500, and For D.Pharmacy INR 250
• Reservation: Candidates will be given based on the reservation criteria for the different categories such as OC, BC, BC (Muslim), MBC/ DNC, SC, SCA, and ST.
