AP TET 2024 exam centers contain a list of 24 exam centers all across Andhra Pradesh. Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, decides and releases a list of available exam centers for candidates. Applicants can carry out the AP TET Exam Centers 2024 selection while filling out the application form on aptet.apcfss.in.

Applicants registering for the AP TET exam must choose one exam center apart from Manyam and AlluriSitaRama Raju. Once submitted, the exam authorities will not reconsider any change in the allotted exam center. Candidates must also choose the session they want to attempt for the AP TET exam.

AP TET 2024 Exam Centers Highlights

Applicants must choose one out of 24 AP TET exam centers 2024 based on convenience and accessibility. Some important features of the AP TET exam centers have been listed below:

  • Candidates can conduct the AP TET exam centers selection within a window opened by exam officials.
  • Through the AP TET exam center option window, students will be able to choose the district and session available for that particular center.
  • AP TET 2024 exam centers will be closed as and when they reach their capacity.
  • Choosing the exam center of the applicant’s choice rests on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  • Suppose the AP TET 2024 exam center reaches its capacity. In that case, applicants must choose another exam center and session from the available district centers.
  • If candidates fail to opt for any exam center in the stipulated amount of time, the Department of School Education will allot a random center from the available ones.
  • AP TET admit card 2024 also gives students the exam center name and session they’ve chosen online.
  • Suppose applicants cannot furnish their admit card and government-issued ID to the AP TET exam center 2024 exam officials. In that case, they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.

Steps to Select AP TET Exam Centers 2024

Applicants must select the AP TET exam center while they are filling out the AP TET application form. If the one exam hall selected by the student is not available, the exam conducting authority will provide another one. 

Below, students can review the steps for AP TET exam center selection:

  • Step 1: Visit the portal on the official website of AP TET 2024 at aptet.apcfss.in.
  • Step 2: Select the “Candidate’s Login” tab on the homepage.
  • Step 3: Enter the registered Candidate’s ID, Date of Birth, and captcha code for verification.

Documents to be Carried to AP TET Exam Centers

Applicants are mandated to furnish important documents during entry to the AP TET exam center. If students cannot submit the requisite documents, they will be barred from attempting the exam. Hence, candidates should note the following documents and carry them to the exam center:

  • A hard copy of the AP TET admit card.
  • Government-issued ID

Items Not to be Carried to AP TET Exam Center 2024

Applicants can only carry the documents mentioned above in the exam hall. If the following prohibited items are found on the candidate’s person, they will be barred from taking the exam. The following articles are prohibited from being carried to the AP TET exam centers:

  • Electronic Gadgets include pagers, mobile phones, smart watches, pen drives, headphones or earphones, Bluetooth devices, etc.
  • Calculator
  • Study Material, pen, pencils, notes, any sheet of paper, writing pads, etc.
  • Open or packed edible items
  • Expensive items such as jewellery, goggles, belts, etc.

Students must check their pockets before entering the exam hall for any item warranting suspicion.

AP TET Exam Day Instructions

Applicants must remember certain instructions before reaching their respective AP TET exam center. The following protocol must be maintained on the AP TET exam day:

  • Applicants must reach the exam hall at least an hour in advance. Exam officials can not enter the AP TET exam center after the exam has commenced.
  • Any information relayed on the AP TET admit card is based on the application form submitted by candidates. The exam conducting body will not be responsible for any discrepancy mentioned on the admit card.
  • Candidates must verify the AP TET 2024 exam center location, reporting time, and other important details on the official website to avoid any crowding at the entry gate.
  • Applicant must understand the basic functions of a PC setup to be able to attempt the CBT (Computer Based Test) exam.
  • Carrying and using other electronic gadgets or devices in the exam hall is strictly prohibited.
  • Applicants must carry their admit cards and government-issued IDs to the exam hall. ID cards such as Aadhar Cards, Passports, Elector’s IDs, and Driving Licences are accepted.
  • Applicants must also carry a passport-sized photograph of themselves to the AP TET 2024 exam center.
  • Students cannot carry devices such as mobile phones, wristwatches, smart watches, pagers, and calculators into the exam center.
  • Suppose any applicant is caught impersonating a candidate. In that case, the candidature will be cancelled, and the police may be called to prosecute the impersonator.

AP TET 2024 Exam Center Allotment

The exam conducting body allocates the AP TET exam center option based on multiple factors. Candidates should consider these factors before the start of the AP TET exam center selection:

  • Applicants can choose from the AP TET exam center list once they have filled out the form and paid the fees.
  • Candidates are requested to select the exam center location wisely, since the DSE (Department of School Education) only allows one exam hall to be selected.
  • In case of cancellation or over-capacity of a candidate’s exam center, the DSE will allot another exam center of their own accord.
  • Students must ensure they pick an exam center location that is convenient and accessible to them, accounting for the nearest location.
  • Applicants should not wait too long to select the AP TET 2024 exam center of their choice since the exam session and center are allotted on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  • Applicants must select an AP TET exam center they are close to since it will save time on the commute to reach the location.
  • DSE reserves the right to add or cancel any exam center location as they see fit, as per their convenience.
