What is APRJC?

The Andhra Pradesh Residential Junior College (APRJC) was established in 1975 by Andhra Pradesh Residential Educational Institutions (APREI) to provide and deliver quality education for all the talented students. The first APRJC was situated in Guntur district and after growing demand from the people, the APREI is now managing 10 Junior residential colleges all over Andhra Pradesh. The seats in these colleges are filled through APRJC CET 2021 examination. The Andhra Pradesh Government is conducting this test with the idea of providing high-class education to the underprivileged candidates at a very cheap fee. APRJC 2021 Application Form

The official notification is generally released a few days before the online application forms are released. Remember, candidates can fill the form only in online mode. Generally, there are two phases while applying online for the APRJC entrance exam 2021. The first phase is the payment of the fee and the second phase is to fill the details on the form.

APRJC Application Fee Payment Process

  1. First login to the official website of APRJC.
  2. Click on 'Online Payment' and it will redirect you to a new page. Enter all the details that are asked.
  3. Click on "Make payment" and pay the APRJC 2021 application form fee.
  4. The application fee/exam fee is INR 250. Candidates can pay the fee using different online payment modes like Credit Card/ Debit Card or Net Banking.


  1. Post completion of the payment, candidates have to click on the 'Proceed Filling Application Form' button.
  2. Fill all the details like SSC Hall Ticket Number, Candidate's Name, Surname, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Gender, and Date of birth.
  3. Enter Medium of study, and the medium in which the candidate wishes to appear for the test, name of the native city, reservation category (if applicable).
  4. Candidate must enter the postal address which includes House Number, Village, Mandal, District, Pin code, Mobile Number.
  5. Upload the photo (3.5 cm X 4.5 cm) and signature and then click the save button.
  6. Click the submit button, take a printout of the application mentioning the reference ID (Registration ID).

APRJC 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria are certain factors which whether a candidate is eligible to participate for the exam or not. In case the candidate is not meeting any of the requirements then the exam authority has the right to cancel their candidature for the session. Candidates can check the criteria defined by the conducting authority to take the APRJC 2021 exam. It generally involves the minimum educational qualification and other factors like nationality or domicile.

Educational Qualification

All candidates must have passed a qualifying examination in the very first in April or March 2021 only. Remember if you have passed earlier than the mentioned year then you are not eligible to apply for the APRJC CET exam. The total score or GPA calculated must be as per the criteria prescribed below. Apart from the criteria mentioned below, all candidates must score a minimum GPA of 4 in the English Subject.

Any candidate aspiring to write APRJC must be a resident of India and should have studied in Andhra Pradesh only. If a candidate satisfies all the above criteria, then he or she can take up the APRJC 2021 exam.

Reservation Criteria

Few seats are reserved for category students in the APRJC. The details of allotment of reserved seats are as follows:

  • Scheduled Caste (SC): 15%
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST): 6%
  • Backward Caste (BC): 7%

Special Category reservation

  • Physically Handicapped: 3% - (The minimum disability is 40%)
  • Sports: 3%
  • Children of Armed Personnel(CAP): 3%

APRJC CET 2021 Exam Pattern

Candidates applying for the APRJC CET 2021 examination must know the pattern of the questions asked. The APRJC follows a similar pattern just like the previous year paper. Candidates must have an in-depth knowledge of what he/she studied in class 10 standard in order to crack the APRJC CET exam.

  • It is a pen and paper (Offline) based test where candidates have to mark the answers in the OMR sheet.
  • The paper contains five subjects which include MPC, BPC, MEC/CEC, EET & CGDT and comprises objective type questions.
  • The duration of the test is 150 minutes and each paper is worth 50 marks.
  • Candidates can write the paper in English only.
  • The APRJC CET 2021 question paper will be based on tenth standard subjects of Andhra Pradesh state syllabus.
  • Question asked in APRJC exam are based on Class X Syllabus.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on the merit in APRJC examination, reservation and special category. At the time of selecting the students for MEC and CEC Group, combined rank will be given to the candidates who opted for MEC and CEC.

If a candidate who has opted for MEC is not selected for the desired course, then his/her candidature shall be considered for CEC and vice-versa. In case of tie-breaker among the candidates with the same marks in the APRJC 2021 examination, the order of the merit will be considered as follows:

  • The higher marks secured by the student in Biological Science for BPC/CGT, Mathematics for MPC/EET and Social Studies for MEC/CEC shall be considered.
  • If the tiebreaker still persists, the higher marks secured by the student in Physical Science for MPC/EET and for BPC/CGT, Mathematics for MEC/CEC shall be considered.
  • The next way of tie-breaker will be by taking advanced age as criteria. If there is a tie-breaker between male and female candidates, then a female candidate will be given higher priority or rank.

APJRC Counselling 2021

APRJC counselling generally starts in the first week of July. Candidates can visit the official All eligible candidates will be called for the counselling according to the merit list prepared by the AP Residential Society (APRS).
