Techno International Newtown, formerly known as Techno India College of Technology, is an engineering college established by the Techno India Group. The college is affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology and its courses are approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). It is located on 5 acres of land in the Megacity area of Rajarhat, Kolkata. Techno International Newtown Entrance Exam 2024

Admission to the undergraduate engineering courses is based on their rank in the WBJEE/ JEE, applicants should have also passed their 12th standard examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate. Admission to the other undergraduate courses is based on the last qualifying examination performance. And for admission to the postgraduate courses is granted based on completing their bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject. Applicants to the M.Tech course are recommended to give either GATE or PGET. Applicants to the MCA course are required to provide JECA with and to have studied maths in their 12th standard examination. 

Techno International Newtown UG Admission 2024

Techno International Newtown offers 7 specializations in the undergraduate engineering program, as well as a program in computer applications and business administration. The duration of the engineering courses is 4 years, whereas BCA and BBA have a duration of 3 years. 

UG Eligibility Details

• For B.Tech course admission applicant must have passed their 12th standard with a 45% aggregate in the science stream. Admission is granted based on the last qualifying examination and WBJEE/ JEE.
• For BCA and BBA courses, the admission procedure applicant must have passed their 12th standard with a 45% aggregate. Admission is granted based on the last qualifying examination.

Techno International Newtown PG Admission 2024

Techno International Newtown offers two postgraduate courses, one in computer applications and one in engineering. The duration of the MCA course is 3 years and the duration of the M.Tech course is 2 years. 

PG Eligibility Criteria

• For the M.Tech course, admission applicants must have finished their B.E/ B.Tech with an aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized university or college.
• For the admission to MCA course, the applicants must have finished their bachelor's degree with an aggregate of 50% marks

Techno International Newtown seeks to inculcate ethical values, social responsibility, and professionalism in the students so that they contribute positively to the development of the nation. Techno International Newtown admission offers full-time courses in the fields of engineering and computer applications at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Along with the various degrees, the college offers various language courses, student exchange programs, industry seminars, workshops, and many more. The placement cell is visited by various leading companies such as Wipro, Capgemini, Mindtree, Tata Consultancy Services, Bosch, Microsoft, Intel, and many more.

• Applicants must complete the admission inquiry form. The admission fee for various courses will be based on the TICT fee structure.
• They must complete all relevant sections of the application form- personal details, percentage of marks in the qualifying examinations, individual percentages in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English entrance test details such as WBJEE and JEE, and lastly, their top 4 course preferences. 
• Admission is granted through the counseling cell of the entrance examination given by the candidate. 
• The application form portal is now available for the students who wish to apply to this college is now open.

1. Original and one photocopy of admit card of respective Joint Entrance Examination. 
2. Original allotment letter received from the respective reporting center issued by WBJEE with a photocopy. 
3. Rank Card of respective Joint Entrance Examination.
4. Duly attested photocopies of 10th standard Admit Card/ Certificate of the respective board as proof of age along with original for verification (Two copies).
5. Duly attested photocopies of 10th & 12th mark sheets along with original for verification (Two copies).
6. Duly attested photocopies of Diploma Mark Sheet (For lateral Entry Students) along with original for verification (Two copies).
7. Duly attested photocopies of graduation mark sheet (For MCA & M. Tech students) along with original for verification (Two copies).
8. Duly attested school leaving/ character certificate from the Head of the Institute last attended (One copy).
9. Five stamp size and two passport size color photographs.
