UG Eligibility Criteria

• An applicant seeking admission to the BBA program should have passed a 10+2 or equivalent course from a recognized board with at least 50% marks in aggregate. And Applicants seeking admission in BBA Honours should have passed a 10+2 or equivalent course from a recognized board with at least 60% marks in aggregate.

PG Eligibility Criteria

• An applicant seeking admission in an MBA course should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
• Applicants should have appeared for any one of the nationally recognized entrance tests (CAT/TANCET/XAT/MAT/GMAT/NMAT/CMAT) or SRM Joint Entrance Exam (SRMJEE-M) to get admission to MBA. 
• Applicants with less than 2 years of work experience and less than the age of 26 years can also apply for this course. 
• Applicants with Diploma's and UGC recognized Distance education degrees will have to mandatorily undertake tests conducted by SRM IST and score a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.

SRM School of Management Kanchipuram selection process 2025 is as follows. The selection process will be based on a merit-based system and will be based on the score obtained by an applicant in the respective entrance exam. Short-listed applicants will be called for group discussions or personal interviews.

Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

• An applicant seeking admission to the Ph.D. program should have completed a master’s degree or a professional degree or any other equivalent course from a recognized university with at least 55% marks in aggregate. 
• Applicants who have cleared the M.Phil. Coursework with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent is eligible to proceed to do research work leading to the Ph.D. Degree in the same Institution. 
• A relaxation of 5% of marks, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer)/ differently-abled.

• The selection process will be based on a merit-based system and will be based on the availability of seats. Short-listed applicants will be called for group discussions or personal interviews. 
• The eligible candidates are called for an entrance examination at the respective campuses of SRMIST. The entrance examination will be either a Computer-Based Test (CBT) / Paper-pencil. The syllabus for the Entrance Test shall consist of 50% of research methodology and 50% shall be subject-specific. However, there is no need for an Entrance test for those students who qualify in UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/teacher fellowship holder.
