Sri Balaji Society, [SBS] Pune is a charitable trust established under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950. The university was established in 1998 by the Founder and President, Dr. (Col) A Balasubramanian assisted by the Directors of the respective Institutes and functions. The students are treated as student managers and groomed for the corporate career ahead.

Sri Balaji Society, [SBS] Pune functions under the able guidance of its Founder and President, Prof. Dr. (Col.) A. Balasubramanian who is an eminent educationist from Pune. He is the first Indian from the Armed Forces in the history of India to be awarded the Honorary Rank of Colonel after retirement.

The Sri Balaji Society, [SBS] Pune consists of four B-schools, including Balaji Institute of Modern Management (BIMM), Balaji Institute of Telecom & Management (BITM), Balaji Institute of International Business (BIIB), and Balaji Institute of Management & HRD (BIMHRD) which offer PGDM program in different specializations. The University also offers a doctoral program.

Sri Balaji Society Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for Sri Balaji Society, [SBS] Pune courses are different at UG and PG levels. There is a minimum requirement of 50% marks in the candidate’s previous studies/degree. The university sets a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates.

• The student accommodations are arranged in the form of 4 clusters with residential spaces for 12 students in each cluster.
• The allotment takes place on a first come first serve basis due to the limited number of seats.
• The hostels are a well-furnished hostel facility within the campus including mess, gymnasium, coffee shop, and shopping center. 
• Every room is equipped with Godrej furniture and two water cooler on each floor.
