BV Raju Institute of Technology is an autonomous engineering institute located in Medak, Telangana. The college was founded by Padmabushan Dr B V Raju in the year 1997. The college was formed under the Sri Vishnu Educational Society. The purpose of establishing BVRIT was to provide quality technical education in a perfect ambience for the all-round development of a student. The institute is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and accredited by NAAC and NBA. The college has been ranked among the top 10 private colleges in the Telangana state. The campus is located 3 km from Narsapur and 50 km from Hyderabad and is sprawled over 110 acres. There are 3 blocks at this particular campus, the Main Block, Eastern Block, and Western Block.

BV Raju Institute of Technology offers 9 different specializations in the Engineering discipline at the undergraduate level. The duration of the B.Tech course is 4 years. The total intake for the engineering courses is 1170 students annually, across the specializations.

Admission to the undergraduate programs is made based on the merit rank obtained by the qualified student in the entrance test conducted by the Telangana State Government- TS-EAMCET and JEE-Mains (For Category-B applications). Applicants should have passed their 12th standard examinations in the science stream.

BV Raju Institute of Technology offers 8 different specializations in the Engineering discipline and 4 different specializations in the business administration discipline at the postgraduate level. The duration of the courses is 2 years long. The annual intake for the postgraduate engineering courses is 18 students per specialization annually, as well as 60 students for the MBA course.

Admission to the postgraduate technology courses is based on merit in the entrance exams- GATE or TS-PGECET. Admission to the MBA program is based on merit in CMAT or ICET.

Admission to all courses at the BV Raju Institute of Technology is conducted through various common entrance tests. The admission fee is based on the BVRIT fee structure.
