Step 1: Register and Appear for JEE Main 2026

Firstly, candidates must register and appear for the JEE Main 2026 exam. Registration for JEE Main can be done at: jeemain.nta.nic.in.

• Attempt: Candidates can appear for both sessions (January and April). IIIT Hyderabad will consider the best NTA percentile score.

• Criteria: While NTA allows many attempts, IIITH requires candidates to have passed Class 12 in 2024, 2025, or 2026.

Step 2: Registration on IIITH Admissions Portal

• Candidates must register on the official IIITH admission portal. You need to provide your JEE Main Application Number and the percentile scores for Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
• A non-refundable application fee of INR 2,500 is required for general applicants. Under the institute's diversity initiative, the fee is reduced to INR 1,500 for female applicants.

Step 3: Branch Preference Selection

During the application, you must list your preference between CSE and ECE. If you are only interested in one branch, list only that.
