The area surrounding this college is not like the city. It is a mixture of city and village. For students it is adorable. Mainly two events held in this college.
College campus is too small. It looks like a school. Even many CBSE schools campus are bigger than this college. But otherwise, the infrastructure is good for students. Not bad.
Teaching in this college is good. All teachers give their best to students. But management is a little bit not satisfied with us.
Overall it's good for reading.
Fee is decided by the University
I read in this college for one year and too many internships are done hate and I wish at the end of the course I will get a job.
I get this college by wbjee. I get this college on the basis of rank in wbjee . Cut off for this course and college is not defined but according to rank basis students eligible for respective colleges.
The admission procedure is very simple. The college doesn't demand very good grades only for b.tech at Civil Engineering or Mechanical engineering. I don't no that much about management course. They give admission by first come first serve. Though I took admission by giving JEE Main exam. But the best thing about the college is the classes are very good, outside class you have full freedom like college.
Society is very good. There are many clubs which organize several types of activities
There are only girls hostel for boys there are PG's in the locality which are good for student many are low budget flats.
The daily routine is very strict. Class timings and project are given by asking student comfortablilty. Teacher are very nice there quality of teaching good. Overall experience is good.

Netaji Subhash Engineering College, [NSEC] Kolkata B.Tech Fee Structure. The course fee at NSEC is Rs. 90,000 per year which increases every year for new students.
Different type of scholarship for sc/st/minority.
TCS, IBM, Microsoft, Intel etc. 5 lakh per year, 12lakh per year. 50% from E.C.E. and C.S.E. Not so strong alumni network!.but there is an existing alumni network in college.
Through WBJEE entrance examination or you may apply through your JEE Main rank. I took the WBJEE entrance for my admission. For good branch within 10k rank required.
There is no hostels or PGs of the college, but around the college there is lots of PGs and self managed hostels which are managed by the students and given by the local peoples. And the cost of those PGs and hostels are average. For 1 single room it's 3000 to 4000 and two students can shear the room and rent both . There is one canteen in the college whose food quality is average in a proper cost that is cost is not so high. And all classes are best and maximum of classes are Air-conditioned and all labs are also air-conditioned. There is lots of lab in college and Wi-Fi available in campus of college
All classes held at a there scheduled time from 10 am in morning to 4 pm in the evening, and classes took regularly from Monday to Friday, and there are no classes on Saturday and Sunday. Some teachers quality good and some teachers are average. But the particular subject was given to that particular teacher, who is best in that field. Overall experience from the college till now is very good
Course fees are INR 80,000 per year. And there is no scholarship option from the college. But a student may get a scholarship by registering on national scholarship. And most of the minorities get a scholarship from national scholarship. But there is no option of scholarship from the college. Yes, many of students whose parents are not able to pay the fees loan and they can be taken easily from any bank.
Netaji is a self-financed college so no stipend is given in this college. And as far as about the companies only IT companies like TCS came here. And give the job to the maximum students.
The eligibility criteria are that the student must achieve 55% aggregate in the 12th board, after that he or she must be appeared in wb-jee or jee-mains . on the basis of the rank of these two exams he and she can take the admission. if the student will be in below the cut-off range for wb-jee. netaji Subhash engineering college cut-off is 21000 approx, above this rank admission stopped. And for Jee Main, it goes higher. I am in this college through wb-jee.
Classes generally start at 9 a.m. They get over by 4-5p.m. depending on the number of subjects and the complexity of each subject being. Classes are generally of a duration of 40 minutes. They are a mixture of theoretical and laboratory classes. The teachers are quite good on average. Most of them are quite willing to help out students outside of classes if the student has any doubts. The overall experience is positive. Obviously, it is a mixture of good and bad. But the good generally outweighs the bad.
Fees during my time were INR 80000 a year. I hear it has been reduced a bit. Scholarships are not provided by the college. There other scholarships that are available from the government or other organizations which can help pay the tuition fees. If loans are required, they are available from most banks. I know of people who got loans from PNB, Axis, SBI, etc.
Internships are available for a select few. There are a few professors who do help out in this aspect. Campus placements are generally quite good. In my batch, out of 140 odd students in my department, about 100-110 got placed from campus interviews in companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, UST Global, etc. Salary figures are in line with industry standards. Nothing extraordinary, but certainly not below average.
The basic eligibility criteria are to have a science background in the +2 standards. Physics, chemistry, and mathematics are mandatory subjects along with you're chosen first and the second language. Also, proficiency in English is recommended as the course is taught in English. One will have to appear in West Bengal Joint Entrance Exams to be eligible. Also one needs to have a minimum of 60-65 % marks throughout. Typical cutoffs vary, but a rank within the top 8000 in JEE should be sufficient.
There are 2 clubs in our college..one is Phoenix the tech club, and the other is NSS which is the social club. Tech fest, Saraswati Puja. Good life you can experience in college campus.
No hostel facility is provided. There are a good number of PGs in the college areas along with mess for both girls and boys separately, costing to 1500 average per bed in PGs and 5000 in the mess which includes food also. Food in our college is good with reasonable rates. Classrooms ,wifi, labs are well equipped and up to the mark.
Class timings are from 11 to 4, weekly assignments are there for one's betterment, along with projects, before the exam. One can get a good bunch of teachers,,,but few of them are not up to the mark,,. The overall experience is good .but not up to it.
My course fee is 28k per year. Mainly scholarships are available for the students availing domicile certificate if u belong from minority, one can avail this. 20% of students in a batch surely avail these scholarships. No loans are not likely to be needed
I have just taken a Industrial training from Indian Railways, on electric traction. TCS, Mindtree, Igate, Infosys, Wipro, these are some of the companies visit our campus during placement, different companies have their own eligibility criteria. An average of 4 LPA is a given. last year the highest package was of 8 LPA Our Alumni is one of the best Bengalgal, consisting of handfull of professors from Jadavpur University

No basic cutoffs are needed, you just have to avail a valid rank in the qualifying exam
There are associations in our college like Phoenix and NSS. we celebrate Durgapuja.
Too good and the freedom to do anything.
No hostel as the hostel is under construction. Pg's and other options are easily available outside the college premise. They cost INR 2000-3000. Food quality is good in the college canteen.
Veg meal-25, egg meal-35, fish meal-45 and chicken meal-60. All the facilities given to us are good and maintained.
Daily classes from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 5 pm.
Quality and method of teaching are very good with lots of experienced professor's.
Good college but the labs should be improved.
INR 80000-840000 per year. No scholarship options. INR 4000-5000.
Loans are fully in one's interest if you can afford the money yearly then no loans required and if not then loans are required.
I have done an training from Ardent, Kolkata.
TCS, Wipro, congnizent, Microsoft, and many more. INR 20000-25000
Being a student of information technology has good alumni as we have an alumni meet named "INCEPTRA".
We should qualify the MAKAUT exam for taking admission in this college with a good score. Cutoffs vary year to year so its hard to say.
The college has its own tech and social club, and annual sports and cultural events and fests are Held by college clubs. Student groups are appreciable in the college, but this college struggles with lack of infrastructure, academic discipline and bad placement opportunities due to lack of quality students.
There is no hostel. There are lots of affordable PGs available in the area. Single room PGs can range between ₹2500 to ₹3000/month. Shared rooms can be available as cheap as ₹1000/month or even less but generally, range at around ₹1500/month. The college infrastructure is very poor, although the management does try to upkeep and maintain the labs and classrooms, yet the infrastructure is way below the mark. Many labs are is the pitiable state with outdated and faulty equipment.
Classes for various Batches start from 10 am and maximum up to 5 pm. Although there are some very good teachers, the overall teaching quality and discipline is not impressive at all. This college provides a moderately motivated study environment. In general, all depends upon the students, you should not expect to get much support from the college
4 lakh is the normal course fee. Students can take scholarships from external agencies, the college does not provide any such scholarships. Many students do take loans, they are generally not very difficult to get from any Private/Nationalized bank.
TCS is the main mass recruitment company, apart from that few other companies do come up for placement in very basic engineering jobs. Average salary packages generally range between 3 to 4 lakhs with less than 40% placement. Alumni network is also not very impressive.
Admission through WBJEE/ JEE Main ranking after qualifying 10+2 exams through a recognized board/university. Although there is a provision of Management quota for a limited number of seats. The cutoff for Mechanical engineering can range from 10000 to 12000 WBJEE ranking.
The college has two main clubs in the college. College celebrate several festivals like Durga Puja Saraswati Puja Diwali and Holi in the campus.
One hostel is available INR 2500 per month is the fee. Affordable PGs and mess available in the locality. Approximate cost per meal is Rs 60. Nice food is available in the canteen.
Classes are nice. Nice routine for students and teachers. Regular classes and nice faculty. Quality of teaching is nice.
My course fee is INR 85,000 per annum. Scholarship option is available for the students.
Tata Consultancy mainly hires students from IT and CS. Poor Placement for mechanical and civil students.
The student who has scored 50 % in PCM and a certain rank in AIEEE or WBJEE 2018.
