Additional Details for Indian Institute of Technology, [IIT] Hyderabad:

• The admission for 3- Year M.Tech program in Indian Institute of Technology will be based on written test and personal interview. 
• The advantage of the regular 3-years M-Tech program is that the students can get better exposure to research under the particular program. The students may be paid a stipend at par (if not higher) with the 2-yr Mtech students.
• Students admitted to the regular M-Tech 3-years program are responsible to provide research and teaching assistants to the supervisor.
• Applicants should have a BTech/BE/MSc/Equivalent Degree in any discipline and have a valid GATE score in relevant areas. But for IIT graduates, they do not need a GATE score but must have a CGPA of 8.00.
  There will not be hostel accommodation provided for the selected candidates during the whole 3-year duration of the M.Tech Programme.
• The application fee for all GEN/OBC candidates is INR 300, all SC/ST/PWD is INR 150 and for all female candidates is INR 150.
• Above mentioned Tuition fee of INR 10500 per year is payable in semester wise of INR 5250 each.
• Above mentioned Admission fee of INR 525 is payable only once at the time of admission.
• The Hostel fee of INR 39150 includes Hostel admission fee of INR 525 per semester, License Fee of INR 1050 per semester, Electricity, water & Other Charges is INR 5000 per semester and Dining Charges INR 13000 per semester.
• Apart from these fees, all students are required to pay Medical Insurance Premium INR 945 per annum.
