An AWES education scholarship scheme was introduced for the wards of army professionals below 25 years of age pursuing their education in recognized schools or colleges. The scholarship scheme provides several benefits to the selected candidates and encourages them to aim higher.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the AWES education scheme are as follows. The candidate must follow the below-given guidelines to apply for the AWES education scholarship scheme 2023.
- The wards of the army professionals who are Defense Security Corps (DSC) and MNS Officers must not exceed 25 years of age.
- Candidates whose parents are Retired Army Personnel, Territorial Army personnel (TA), battle casualty and deceased army personnel are not eligible to apply for the AWES scholarship.
