Chandigarh University has a good record of internship and placements from the last previous years. There is a separate department DCPD (Department of career planning and development ) that takes care of the campus internship and placements opportunities. A large number of companies came for recruitment such as Deloitte, HDFC, Axis, Bajaj Capital, IDBI Federal Life Insurance, Flipkart, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, etc offering good number of package to the students.

College Infrastructure is very good, all the facilities are available with in the campus. Nek Chand (towers), LC, Zakir, Govind hostels are for boys, and Sukhna, Shivalik Tagore are for girls. Hostel food is good, 4 seats are available in one room, Hostel cost is 86000 per year inclusive of food, wifi, gym, etc. PG's and outside options cost the more and the main thing is that outside is not safe. Campus hostels are safe, security guards are always there for protection. Classrooms have new and good furniture, 2 projectors, labs consist of ACs and updated systems and software.

Faculty of Chandigarh University are very good in nature, very Co-operative and helpful, always ready to motivate students to achieve success.

Class timings are from 9:30 am to 4:20 pm, including one hour for recess. Department also conducts various guest lectures, seminars and workshops for the practical learning to the students. Every Subject consists of 3 Assignments, there are 2 mid tests between the semester, and after practicals final exams held. Talking about all over experience is very very good because this is the place where a lot of opportunities came to earn success.

There are various scholarship facilities available to students by Cu-Cet, if parents are in defence students get a scholarship, if there is single girl child in family students will get concession in the fees. A good number of students availed scholarship facility

There are 3 banks in the campus SBI, HDFC and J&k Bank offering loans to the students at reasonable rate of interest.

There are various Clubs, societies students can become part of such by filling a form on UIMS, there are several clubs such as Music, dance, fine arts, sports, etc, where they can work in a team, organize and participate in various events and functions. University also conducts fests, Tech Invent, Tashan Nites, Aaghaz on a large scale, where other universities from all over India students take part.  Bollywood stars came there, where students get a chance to interact with them. College life is very good snd enjoyable.
