Placements and Internships
I got an internship through the institute itself and everyone gets their internship through the institute. Big Companies like Deloitte, EY, Asian Paints, Infosys etc as well as startups visit the campus for offering internships as well as placements to the students. Average salary has been around 9-10 lpa, and highest was around 27 lpa. 100% of the batch got campus placement unless they opted out of the placement procedure.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
The institute provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls. These are air-conditioned hostels situated about 3-4 kms from the institute. Free bus facilities are provided throughout the day to travel to and from hostel to institute. Mess charges are included in the hostel fees which are taken at the beginning of the year for the whole year.
The institute provides free wifi to all the students. The institute has a state of the art library and Bloomberg lab, as well as computer labs. The labs and classrooms are fully air-conditioned equipped with projectors and speakers for audio and visual aid in teaching.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
I got into the Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management through CAT. After I got a call for admissions, we had a WAT and PI which is conducted in all major cities. The cutoff for CAT usually hovers around 80%.
Academics and Faculty
PGDM is a rigorous course, classes start at about 9:45 in the morning and continue until 5:30 in the evening. LBSIM focuses on experience based learning so plethora of assignments and class projects are given. The faculty is very experienced and it's dedicated to clarifying each and everyone's doubts.
Fees and Scholarships

Clubs and Associations
LBSIM is a student driven institute and everything from admissions to social media and media presence to placements is controlled by students. There are 16 academic and non-academic clubs in the institute.
The cultural life is quite rich in the institute as all festivites are fully celebrated. We have Samrthya week, where events are organized by the various clubs throughout the period. Our annual fest, TATVA is celebrated with zest and we also have Sports fest and tech fest organized at our institute
Dignitaries and speakers are invited throughout the year to encourage the students and make them aware of what's going on in the industry.
