Placements and Internships
1) As per the college, the students must complete two internships i,e. one after 1st year and the second in the 4th semester.
I am currently pursuing my internship with stipend referred through college.
2)Key companies are
- Finance: EY, KPMG, Deloitte, Capgemini, Morgan Stanley
- Marketing: Oracle, Oyo rooms, Flipkart, Amazon
- IT: Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Samsung
4) The Alumni network of the college is really good as the students have regular guest lectures and meet with them and also get help in the job placements through them.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
1)There are two hostels for the students i,e. one for the students of India and the other for the NRI students. The hostels are very neat and tidy, the food is also great.
2) People who opt to stay out of college also have many options like PG's and Rooms available for students at affordable prices.
3) As the college started new construction the old huge canteen is no more until and the new canteen food is not so great food menu but the prices are affordable.
4) The infrastructure of the college is good with spacious classrooms and libraries.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
1) The eligibility criteria were the completion of any UG courses. For example B.Com, BBM, BCA, B.Sc, and Engineering etc.
The admission is either through Management quota or PGCET counseling (Government seat).
2) The entrance exam taken by me was PGCET. KMAT exam can also be taken up for the entrance.
3)The cut off for PGCET was around 500 ranking and again it depends on different categories like GM, 1A, 2A, 3A, SC & ST etc.
Academics and Faculty
1) The daily routine is much common with the rest of the MBA colleges with 9 am to 4 pm classes, regular presentations and assignments keep the students engaged in gaining more knowledge. Saturday's are good with only seminar class for 2 hours.
2)All the faculties are Ph.D. holders and well versed in their specific subjects which makes the students learn and understand better. The teaching staff is approachable and guide students with their projects.
3)BMS College of Engineering is one of the top colleges in Bengaluru for the MBA program. The faculty is very good inturn making learning easy and fun with regular assignments and projects. As the college has a good reputation the placements for the students happen on a good scale. The best part about the college which is appreciated by all students is that there is no dress code for MBA students and the Management fest QUEST is one of the biggest management fests by the MBA Department.
Fees and Scholarships
1) The MBA course fee is around INR1.5 lakhs for 2 years for those who get through PGCET and for those who opt Management quota it is INR 5.5 lakhs for 2 years.
2) There are various scholarship options for people with caste certificates and low-income certificates. Almost all the people who apply for the scholarship in different categories get it.
3)The college has a tie-up with Allahabad Bank which is also inside the campus and it easy for the students in loan formalities.
Clubs and Associations
Utsav is the main festival of college that goes on for 3 days. The cultural and sports committees are good as well.
It feels really good to be a part of this college.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : This college considers various entrance exams for admission such as CAT, MAT, KMAT, PGCET, or through Management quota. Other than PGCET, all the exams such as CAT, MAT, KMAT are for eligibility criteria under management quota. Under PGCET, if your rank is below the cutoff for the college, you can apply for admission. The cutoff changes every year. Under management quota, the admission process consists of aptitude test, group discussion, and a final round of personal interview. The admission process generally starts around the month of June-July.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I had written the PGCET exam in order to get admission into the college. The cut-off rank for MBA in BMS is less than 400 I think. Once you get a seat through KEA you'll have to submit your documents and your admission will be done. Quite an easy process

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Placements:BMSCE offers decent placements. Major recruiters are ITC, EY, Asian paints. Average package is is 3 LPA. Can go upto 7 LPA. Depending upon students ability. College have a placement cell which takes care of placements as well as internships. Entrance: there are two options 1. PGCET 2. Management1. PGCET: this exam is only applicable to students of Karnataka. Minimum 7 years of education should be pursued in Karnataka. Students clearing this exam directly get admission from Government of Karnataka. To enter you need very good ranking. General merit cutoff stands at 400. Fees being 2.5 lakhs for overall academics.Management: management quota can be applied by MAT, CMAT, CAT. This student has to face written, group discussion and personal interview round. Academics and faculty:BMSCE is an autonomous college affiliated with VTU. Although the college follow basic guidelines of University, they can modify the syllabus according to the requirements. The
