Placements and Internships

The internship program start after completing M.Com and who wish to do Ph.D. Key company are TCS, PWC, IBM etc. Average package is INR 2 lakh p.a and the highest package is INR 3 lakhs p.a.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are available at INR1500 per month. Also, there are much more private PGs. Per month charge is from INR 6000 to 10000. The infrastructure of college is not much improved.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

The eligibility criteria for admission is above 50 percent in B.Com graduation. Although M.Com admission can also be taken by the student who Completed there graduation just one year before only and not beyond it. An entrance test is to be given. The cut off for the course is 50 percent.

Academics and Faculty

The M.Com course runs in two shift- afternoon and evening. All class have timing of 45 mins. The exam are held as an interim test based on McQ and final exam in college only. The method and quality of education is very nice. 

Fees and Scholarships

The fee structure is INR 1200, examination fee and rest are also part of it. All of the totals are INR 1800.p.a, Scholarship option are available.

Clubs and Associations

Student Union and various clubs are there. The main festival is Saraswati Puja. Life in college is fun.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For getting admission in Calcutta University, you need to have First Class (60%) and above for direct admission. Although it depends on the cut off and the availability of the seats. Rest of the applicants have to undergo an entrance test, which on clarifying, they get selected for admission.
