The students union is the head society with different branches for different aspects of sports, academics, etc. The college doesn't have a lot of functions. The only big functions are freshers and Saraswati puja. If you know how to make friends in the college is going to be an easy life for you here.
The hostel is a common Calcutta University hostel. And again the fees is negligible even with including food. The classrooms are big, not fancy but more or less maintained. There are several WiFi connections for different sections of the college. The students union WiFi being the favourite of the users.
The classes are more or less regular. With some great teachers who will make study way for you. Most of the teachers are friendly except a few. The college environment is friendly and jolly.
The fee is negligible in this University being a government aided educational institute. The scholarship is not necessary because you can afford this college even with your pocket money.
There is no in campus placement but the degree of this college is enough to get you a great job of not your dream job. There are vast choices of internships from this college. Most of the top lawyer would prefer students from this college over others.
