Placements and Internships
I did my internship in IBM, HPGCL, and BEL. Key companies are mostly the mass recruiters like Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, L&T Infotech. The average salary is INR 3.5 to 4.5 lakh per annum and highest package for ECE was INR 31 lakh per annum and for CSE it was INR 36 lakhs per annum in 2016. Alumni network is strong and also the alumni association gets connected with students through SIIC club.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Hostels conditions and quality depends on the hostel you have chosen. A number of PG's Option are there near campus and at a less cost than the hostel and with better facilities. Quality of food is average and not that much worse. Classrooms and other facilities are very good and WiFi is throughout the campus and The overall infrastructure is good too.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Eligibility criteria are more than 70% in 12th and SRMJEEE exam is what I gave for the admission in SRM University. There is no typical cut off but mostly the CSE and ECE department gets finished up to 10000 ranks.
Academics and Faculty
Class timings are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Quality of teaching is average not that much great and some faculty is very nice. Overall experience is not that worse.
Fees and Scholarships
INR 1.85 lakh was my tuition fee and Scholarships are based on CGPA scored in 12th marks if it's more than 95% you will be able to get your fee waived up to 25%. The average number of students who get the scholarship is 10-15% per department. Loans are easily available from banks like Indian bank, oriental bank of commerce etc.
Clubs and Associations
We have many students clubs in our college. Almost all festivals are celebrated including cultural and tech fest. College life in general is good.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : 60% of the intermediate score is the major eligibility criteria. The only entrance exam for admission in this college is SRMJEE. around 220marks are must to get qualified in SRMJEE.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The basic eligibility criteria to join SRMIST is you must have at least scored 65% aggregate in PCM in your 12th class. Secondly, you have to write the entrance exam conducted by SRM known as SRMJEEE. The cutoff marks cannot be predicted. However, if you get the counselling call letter and your rank falls in top 50%ile of the total students called then there are healthy chances that you'll get any desired branch.
