Average salary depends upon the branch you are studying in. On average you may get 8.0(INR) lakhs per annum.

If you have done your 12th in science with a subject Maths then you are eligible to apply for the entrance exam to take admission in IIT Kanpur. You need to appear in JEE MAIN and JEE advance to get admission here. You may look about the exams on the sites.

The course fee is Rs 2.2(INR) lakh per year for students having parental annual income above 6.0(INR) lakhs. But if your parental income is between 1.0 (IONR) lakhs to 6.0(INR) lakhs you need to pay only 1/3 rd amount of the actual fee (2.2 lakh/year). For below that you are eligible for free education. Meritorious student get scholarships. All students performing good in academics are given scholarship. Loan are very easily available from campus banks.
