If you have done your 12th in science with a subject Maths then you are eligible to apply for the entrance exam to take admission in IIT Kanpur. You need to appear in JEE MAIN and JEE advance to get admission here. You may look about the exams on the sites.

Placements & Internships

Companies from all over India and world come to hire from this campus. As this is engineering college so companies related to technology comes here mostly. Apart from those companies from finance area also shows interest in hiring students. Almost 80% students get placed on the campus. And that also with a good salary. Average salary depends upon the branch you are studying in. On average you may get 8.0(INR) lakhs per annum.

  • I qualified the JEE advance with air 2562 and cut-off for aerospace is about 2900.
  • The eligibility for IIT is normal where the student must come under the top 20 percentile and must clear JEE main.
  • The student can attempt JEE only two times - First attempt after 12th Board Examinations and the last attempt after one year.

  • IIT Kanpur has a very good placement record it which goes up to 2 crores. 
  • There are good internship opportunities in foreign universities and companies.
  • There are a lot of alumni who have successfully started well-known startups like N.R. Murthy, Juniper, etc.
