- The average salary offered per year is something likely between 3-4.5 lakhs, highest salary was 40 lakhs
- About 90% student was placed last year.
- I will rate Placement and Inter between 8 to 8.5
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- To get admitted in U.P.E.S. you will need to first qualify an entrance called UPSET, it is probably conducted in the second week of may every year, I qualified the same exam. But no worry if you missed it you can still get admission depending upon your JEE Mains marks, but luckily there is also an extra path for Uttarakhand resident, as they have some reserved no of seats for Uttarakhand resident students.
- There is nothing like cutoffs n all, your result will display according to your ranking, but still what are the minimum requirement of marks for good ranking no answer to this question because they maintain some automated mark detection system which is not much familiar with.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for UPES is minimum 60% marks in CBSE boards. Also, admission is taken through UPESEAT exam too. I took the UPESEAT exam to get into the University. For my course cutoff is approx 9000 rank. This is because the University is having domain specific computer science branches due to which seats get increased.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Through entrance exam or board merit/JEE Main scores. 80% of the seats are reserved for those who are allotted on the basis of entrance examination and the remaining 20% will be through board merit or JEE Main scores. The eligibility criteria of UPESEAT 2018 should be checked by the candidates before filling the application form. The candidates should have secured at least 60% marks at Higher and Senior Secondary Level (10th and 12th). Should have scored minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th). Non-Exam Pathway (up to 20% Seat Distribution) Board Merit: The candidates should have secured minimum 80% marks in 10th and 80% in 12th standard (or equivalent examination) in PCM. An aggregate to 80% should also have scored in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at Senior Secondary Level (12th standard).
