Placements and Internships
- For 1st-year student, the internship starts from 23 Feb to 10 may, where you are being given 2 options as self-assessed and college generated.
- A large number of companies come here for the internship based on for the experienced and fresher students in ICFAI Business School, [IBS] Hyderabad.
- FOR MARKETING: the HSBC bank came with the marketing profile providing Rs. 35,000 as the stipend for 2 months (with experience of 2 years or more). The companies like tech Mahindra, Neilson, brisk, and a number of a startup comes up.
- For finance the different banks and startups come up like HSBC bank (Rs. 35000), HDFC, JPMC, Purple talk.(Rs. 10k to Rs. 20k)
- For HR: TCS, Chai point, and startups.
- The alumni network is really strong. Every year several events and meet are being held for the seniors and super seniors, called nostalgia and others.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 3 big hostels for girls and 3 big hostels for boys in ICFAI Business School, [IBS] Hyderabad. It is compulsory for all the students to stay in hostel only.
- The hostel free for one block for both boys and girls is Rs. 10,000 extra since the attached bathroom is provided.
- The hostel fees is a part of Rs. 16 lakhs.
- There is 2 mess in the campus providing food to all the faculties, students, workers and other people at the campus.
- The quality of staff of library, mess, guards, faculties is really nice and appreciable.
- The campus is all wifi equipped with a strong connection and with really good speed.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The ICFAI Business School, [IBS] Hyderabad has total 9 campuses throughout India providing MBA/PGDM degrees.
- The entrance exam to be given for the entrance is CAT, IBSAT, NMAT.
- Since for IBSAT, the criterion is never revealed, you simply get a result informing you about the clearance of exam, followed by the location for group discussion and personal interview.
Academics and Faculty
- The academics area in ICFAI Business School, [IBS] Hyderabad include around 20 classrooms with comfortable chairs, space, air conditioner, projector.
- The classes commence from 9:30 am in the morning till 4:30 pm or sometimes 6 in the morning.
- There is no vacation given other than the vacation at the end of the semester exams that too for max 10 days.
- The faculty which is there in the first year is really nice, appreciable, commendable( not all), but surely for main subjects, but for final year very few faculties are nice others are not that good.
Fees and Scholarships
- The fee structure in ICFAI Business School, [IBS] Hyderabad for IBS Hyderabad is nearly Rs. 16 lakhs which include academics, food, hostel, library usage, books for both the semesters which is not to be returned.
- The loans are being availed by many students depending on the banks they use.

- ICFAI Business School, [IBS] Hyderabad is known for their clubs. Almost 35 clubs like fine street ( finance club), maverick( marketing), admire( branding), new wire(newsgroup) etc are held.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The Primary Entrance Exam to get into ICFAI any of the IBS campuses is IBSAT, although the college accepts CAT, NMAT and XAT scores as well, but it is preferable to appear for IBSAT as the examination fee is included along with the application fee and is comparatively easier than the other entrance examinations. After IBSAT, admission process continues by which students get calls for the GD&PI process which happens only at the Hyderabad campus. No scores are declared for IBSAT. ICFAI also picks those Students if they hold any of the following: GD(Distinction Certificate) Past Awards Academic Excellence Certificate.
