Placements and Internships
- Companies from Banking and insurance dominate the placements like KPO's, Real Estate Consulting companies also showing up.
- The average package is around Rs 5,00,000 per annum.
- Few companies that visit campus are HDFC, CBRE, JP Morgan, ICICI, Smart Cube, etc.
- Alumni network is huge, college has been making efforts to make the best of it but still to realize its true potential.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There is 2 kind of hostels for boys and girls. one usual with shared washrooms, one a little lavish with attached washrooms.
- All rooms are single seater and with balcony irrespective hostel you choose. Hostels are 5 storied, each room has a bed, study table, wardrobe, and balcony. Washrooms are available in plenty equipped with washing machines.
- The quality of classrooms, labs, library etc everything is world class.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Entrance is through IBSAT/CAT score for Hyderabad Campus.
- For candidates who have good overall personality and are not very strong in written, I would recommend taking IBSAT.
- IBSAT has 25% weightage only and the balance 75% is distributed in your past academic score, Interview, GD performance.
- Since IBS has many campuses, IBSAT typical cut-off is low so if you perform well in the later evaluations. There is a good probability of getting a seat in Hyderabad campus.
Academics and Faculty
- The class timings start from 9 am to 6 pm.
- The overall experience of college is good.
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee is high . Back in 2010-12, It was INR 12,00,000 all inclusive. Now the fee has been revised taking tuition plus misc expenses are greater than Rs 15,00,000
- Also, scholarships were good back at my time with people securing above 8 GPA getting INR 75,000, 8.5 GPA INR 1,00,000 and so on. However, now very few top performers manage to get anything back from the college.
- Loans are available for most of the banks, it is easier to get from private ones.

- There are numerous club activities like marketing, finance, business, operations, theater, advertising clubs, etc.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The Primary Entrance Exam to get into ICFAI any of the IBS campuses is IBSAT, although the college accepts CAT, NMAT and XAT scores as well, but it is preferable to appear for IBSAT as the examination fee is included along with the application fee and is comparatively easier than the other entrance examinations. After IBSAT, admission process continues by which students get calls for the GD&PI process which happens only at the Hyderabad campus. No scores are declared for IBSAT. ICFAI also picks those Students if they hold any of the following: GD(Distinction Certificate) Past Awards Academic Excellence Certificate.
