Placements and Internships
- I did my Internship at Tata Power Station Trombay Mumbai through IIT Bombay. I haven't yet been placed . Placement is going to happen in December.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 17 hostels naming H1 to H17 in ITT Bombay. Hostel up 9 are old before 2000 and after are newly constructed and had minimum 5 floors with lift facilitated . Hostel fee is 15000.
- Fee's include's food and hostel related reimbursement.
- Quality of Classrooms, Labs, Libraries, dining halls, Wi-Fi and other key infrastructure are Very good.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria for ITT Bombay is to clear the IIT JEE Mains and Advanced exams are conducted every year . You have to clear JEE Mains to be able to write the JEE Advanced .
- After getting a decent score/rank you will get the admission any of the eleven IITs.
Academics and Faculty
- Generally We have our regular classes in the morning from 12-30 pm starting from 8-30 in IIT Bombay. After that usually three-day lab in the evening from 2 to 5 pm. We have two day weekend .
- Quality of teaching is best . We have lectures , tutorials , quizzes and exam and overall evaluation is quite strict .
- One of the best experience of my life to study in IIT Bombay.
Fees and Scholarships
- Mainly two types of fees in IIT Bombay . One is tuition fee and other is hostel fee . Hostel fee is 15000/semester for every category students. While tuition fee is RS57000 for general and obc and RS15000 for sc/st/pwd per semester.
- Scholarships are like free messing for sc/st , MCM for obc etc.
- 33% students possibly get the scholarship .
- Loan is depend on Parent Salary . If it is required then it can be get from the bank easily.
Clubs and Associations
- There are many student clubs IIT Bombay. They participate in many cultural , sports , acedemic and debate activities.
- One of the biggest college festival in The asia named Mood Indigo is organised every year. Techfest a technical fest is organised every year.
- Hence life best here.

Academics & Faculty : The faculty of IIT Bombay is really rich with knowledge and sheer experience. They are easily available and the internal exams are decided by the teachers only. The load of subjects and busy schedule doesn't feels so hectic if the teachers is really helpful(which most of them are). The quality of teaching is just awesome. They'll even help you withy your business or product ideas.
