Placements and Internships
- No, I haven't done any internships . We get hired for different roles across different sectors like IT, manufacturing ,production,and various other roles for roles like associate software engineer ,senior software engineer , junior software developer ,and junior trainee and other posts. The average salary package is around 4 lakhs per annum .
- Minimum of 50 percent will be placed every year The alumni network is not having any significant role in the college development.the network is not properly established.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criteria are to qualify in the national level admission test
- JEE mains 2013. We need to have 50 percentage of minimum in tenth standard and plus 2 to be eligible to join the college. The cutoff ranks for my branch were around 50000 AIR for open category 80000-90000 for an obvious category . And it was 120000 for SC and st candidates
Fees and Scholarships
- The fee for the currently admitted students will be around Rs.1.5 lakhs per annum including all expenses. There will be different state level scholarships available to the students from the state boards and some national level scholarships will be awarded to meritorious SC candidates among the total students .
- 30 -40 percent of the college students will get some kind of scholarship from different sources like oil, or other schemes . Yes, the students who don't get any financial aid from college or government or any other source will opt for a bank loan to fund their cost of education. They avail from banks present in the campus like SBI ,Canara Bank or other banks which issue scholar loans for students.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for doing M.Tech Automotive Engineering in NIT Agartala should be a BE/B.Tech pass out in either Mechanical or Automobile Engineering. GATE is the required exam to get admission in M.Tech. The typical GATE cutoff ranges from 500 and above for Gen category and 350and above for other categories.
