- Every student need to undergo one project at the last semester
- Placements Intake from the college is very good every year. Once the student is eligible to companies with minimum requisite then chances of placement is high. Companies like TCS,WIPRO,ACCENTURE,CYBAGE,BOSCH visits regularly
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Hostel life(living) is good and not the food. Hostel food is the only concern. Well college offers many hostel blocks, so need not panic for hostel accommodation (hostel seekers)
- There are good no. of options available within the vicinity of college. There are 2 big townships residing nearer to campus. cost of living is high
- Alternatives for hostel food are plenty, have two streets offering varieties of food and tasty as well. Many Andhra mess are adjacent to the campus, costing Rs 50 per meal
- Classrooms are equipped with projectors, dias,podium good and organized seating allotment in classroom. One cannot miss the review with out the Mentioning LIBRARY-- BEST of its kind.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Eligibility criteria : to have 60% and above in 10 th ,12 th standards. Admission procedure is taken in Chennai. They have admission office in the city which is operating for both city and main campus (kattankulathur). Student should have minimum knowledge in fields like physics,math,chemistry.
- SRMJEEE is the entrance exam to get through for the admission
Academics and Faculty
- Best part of college is learning from peers, faculty, environment when you have better infrastructure, scope of betterment in every area tends to increase so does in College. Class timings are 9 AM to 4 PM
- Quality and method have improved a lot over the years
- Overall experience in college is top notch
Fees and Scholarships
- Fee per year is high. Now it is Rs 2 lakh per annum
- Scholarship is available for students who have 95% and above in physics,chemistry,math subjects in their 12 std. This will continue if student performs well in every year

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria is you should score a rank below 20,000 in the SRMJEE exam. The cutoff for my course is rank below 10,000 in SRMJEE.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : SRM Institute of Science and Technology is deemed to be a University which, has its own entrance exam - SRMJEEE, a computer-based examination for 125 marks in 2 hours and 30 minutes testing your physics, chemistry, math, English, and aptitude ( will have to appear for biology is your course requires) one who is desiring to join SRM should take up this exam and clear it, the rank obtained will decide your preference. Also, on cracking JEE Mains, you will be eligible for admissions in SRM. There are various campuses, and the eligibility criteria differ for each. In the Chennai campus for the B.tech course, a minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required in PCM subjects which also should be your core subjects. On fulfilling these criteria, you can secure your place in this college.
