Support is very good if you wanna work on your startup the SIC is really good and supportive and there's lot of people who will be happy to mentor you The placements are pretty average and similar to most of colleges The alumni network is also pretty great every semester an alumni meet is also organized and anyone can participate and can interact with the alumni
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Need to clear the SRMJEE and most have more than 75% in PCM. The ranking in SRMJEE is recommended to be below 10,000 to avail a scholarship.
Academics and Faculty
Unlike a lot of colleges in the north classes start pretty early at 8 and on long days end at 5 but usually it varies The teachers are okay nothing crazy but masterclasses are organized regularly for various field and they are usually good It's pretty decent lots of opportunities for the ones seeking otherwise a complete nightmare because a lot of teachers just want good marks.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee is Rs 3,50,000 per anum. For students who rank below 10000 a scholarship of around Rs 1Lakh is given As for the number it's hard to say but around half of them do Yes some take loans and during the on-campus enrollment students can take loans by simply going the education loan counter

A lot of societies for any interest you have like developer student council edm summit a club for entrepreneurs and a lot more but some Network marketers might trick you by telling you its a college club don't fall for it. Aarush the Tecno management fest of college and Milan the amazing fest is among the top 5 fests in India. The life in college is actually really good but mostly depends on the type of people you have to hang out with

Entrance Exams & Admissions : SRM Institute of Science and Technology is deemed to be a University which, has its own entrance exam - SRMJEEE, a computer-based examination for 125 marks in 2 hours and 30 minutes testing your physics, chemistry, math, English, and aptitude ( will have to appear for biology is your course requires) one who is desiring to join SRM should take up this exam and clear it, the rank obtained will decide your preference. Also, on cracking JEE Mains, you will be eligible for admissions in SRM. There are various campuses, and the eligibility criteria differ for each. In the Chennai campus for the B.tech course, a minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required in PCM subjects which also should be your core subjects. On fulfilling these criteria, you can secure your place in this college.
