Tanvi Mehta's Review on VIT University, [VIT] Vellore

• The course needs two varied internships in service and manufacturing sectors that help student implement whatever they are taught inside the classrooms.
• However they do not offer very good placement oppurtunity since many students choose to study further. 

• There are around 6 ladies hostel and 13 men's hostel which provide mess facility and accommodates 2, 4 and 6 bedded rooms i.e. AC and Non-AC. The hostel is extremely safe and cleaned.
• The mess provides north, south and special options with varied costs.  The food is average and can be improved by the caterers.
• The college has a well-equipped library and WiFi campus which usually works. 

The University is known for its Fully Flexible Credit System wherein students can choose teachers, slots and subjects according to their convinience. The projects and assignment further adds to the practical knowledge of the students. The teachers give students an interactive yet challeging and mind provoking examples. The university provides a good, competitive atmosphere to all the students studying here.

• The course fee is comparatively cheaper against the quality of teaching provided by the university.
• The university has a very well planned scholarships for merit rank holder as well as students from low economic class.
• The loans are easily approachable at the time of payment of fees and VIT very well sponsors all the Tamil Nadu students with impeccable academic history.

• There are overall 80 clubs and chapters which capture every hobby and interest of students.
• The University has two major fests graVItas and Riviera the former being the technical and the latter being the cultural fest. Each school or clubs goes on have minor fests or events once in a year.
