Placements and Internships

3.5

The current is the best batch I.e 2014-16 is the second batch of this college hence the process of approaching companies, inviting them to our campus for placements and other seminars are being done. But the first batch had quite a good response from companies wanting to take them as interns.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

3.5

The infrastructure of our college is at par with all the modern requirements of a good B-School. The campus is wifi enabled. The classrooms are well furnished and are equipped with projectors and mics. There is a well build library. There is also a huge football ground and a cafeteria. Most of the students travel by their own cars. But there are two metro stations that are 2 in the 3 km radius of the campus which can help students coming from far away place to reach the campus.

Academics and Faculty

3.5

The daily academic schedule of Delhi School of Business is at par with any other B-school in India. The classes commence at (:30 in the morning. There are lectures of 1 and a half hour each which included learning through presentations and projects. Apart from that their quizzes are taken after every few days so as to ensure that there is continuous evaluation of student's performance. The classes generally end around 4:45 which is then followed by an occasional meeting of the various student's committee's to discuss their relevant issues and or plan certain things for the events that keep happening after every few weeks. The curriculum followed can be rated 6 out of 10 but with the availability of library, there are lots of reference books that one can avail. The faculty of our college is quite good in terms of the institutes that they have worked with and the amount of experience that they bring in, The best part is that many of the faculty members have worked in the industry so they bring in a lot of insights as to what the ground reality is.

Fees and Scholarships

3

Student's who have scored high in their Management entrance exams example, CAT, MAT, XAT etc are offered scholarships. Students who want to finance their education by obtaining a student loan can do the same.

Clubs and Associations

3.5

There are a lot of clubs formed in our college. Example: The student committee which is further divided into cultural committee, academic committee, discipline committee. There also a placement committee. The PGDM batch is further divided into Finance, marketing, entrepreneurship and HR Clubs. All of them are very active and participating. Even though there is no official DSB sports team. But the students play a lot of outdoor games and they're all football and volleyball enthusiasts.

Academics & Faculty : The academia is really good here. The professors are pretty good and the curriculum is like any other top B-School. The visiting faculty is always interesting. The classes are conducted from 9-4 every day. The schedule is not that hectic but we are required to keep making assignments and give quizzes. The teachers use a practical methodology.

Academics & Faculty : The academia in DSB is one of the greatest and competes with the top B-schools in India. The classes are conducted from around the 9-4 daily. The professors are between average to very good. The visiting faculty is always interesting. There are various committees in DBS which keep the campus abuzz with thier regular events. The committees are a good source of learning team work and management.

Academics & Faculty : DSB follows mix of classroom lectures and activity based learning. The course curriculum is on the similar lines as other college's across India. Classes are from 9.30-4.40 usually with some classes get over at 3. Most of the faculty members are from reputed institutes and have corporate experience plus teaching experience. Teachers are quite helpful even outside the classroom as compared to other college's. They have visiting faculty's for different subjects and they also highly experienced.
