Raj Kumar's Review on Jadavpur University, Calcutta

• I have not done any internship yet.
• IT companies like amazon wipro, microsoft etc come to hire from the campus. Core companies like tata motors , maruti suzuki also grace the campus for placements.
• average salary is Rs 5.5 lakhs per annum and  highest salary may rise above Rs 30 lakhs per annum and more than 75% of the students get placed.

• The hostel facilties are not enough for all the students though the hostel is very less
• The cost of food is average and comparable to prices in the market.
•  Quality of classrooms and labs is above average.

• CLASS TIMINGS : 10:00 am to 5:30 PM.  WEEKLY ASSIGNMENTS AND PROJECTS ARE GIVEN.  THERE ARE  TWO CLASS TEST PER WEEK AND ONE MAJOR END SEMESTER EXAM IS HELD AT THE END OF EVERY SEMESTER,
• QUALITY OF TEACHING IS ABOVE AVERAGE
• EXPERIENCE OF COLLEGE IS EXTRAORDINARY.

• The total course fee per semester is Rs 3200.
• There are very few scholarships available generally students from reserved category are able to get scholarship, about 5% of the students get scholarship.

There are many clubs and students societies like photographic club ,sports club, science club , mountaineering club.

There are various festivals all around the year such as Techfest : srijan, chemthalon. cultural fest : sanskriti

Overall life in college is fantastic.
