In our final year we had to do an internship with the companies associated with the university or we could also choose any company of our choice. I did an internship with Tech Mahindra, the stipend was 8k and later on after completing my graduation I joined the company for time as I already had worked as an intern with them, the company was happy to have me. The average salary offered by different companies was 4-6 LPA and the highest was 11 LPA. The placements at SRMUH are very beneficial.

The hostel charges are around 2 Lac, the hostel is air conditioned. There are two hostels, one for boys and one for girls, they are both very safe and good. It is easy to find PGs near the university, the rent is also moderate. There are PGs available for 5000 per month.

The college cafeteria serves hygienic food and the prices are also fair. SRM University is known for its great infrastructure, the labs and on campus training centres are also very well equipped with advanced tools and technology.

I am a former student of SRMUH, I pursued BTech in computer Science. When I first thought of joining the university I was a bit unsure but after visiting the campus and talking to the counsellors I was sure about it. I had to appear for SRMJEE in order to secure my admission in the university. I’d recommend you to study the required portion once with presence of mind and you’ll definitely clear the entrance test.

10-5 is the regular timing of the college. The faculty is very good and passionate towards teaching. The univeis student centric, they conduct different awareness programmes for the benefit of the students. SRM has a very joyful environment, the healthy competition among the students helps everyone learn more efficiently.

The fee for B.Tech is around 8.5 Lakhs at SRM University, SRMUH. There are different levels of scholarship programmes where the students can get the scholarship benefits based on their scores in their HSC board examinations. More than 60% of the students get the benefits of the scholarships at SRM. Loans are not necessarily needed for all the students but some students who need them could get it very easily. There are very easy steps to follow if you want to get a loan or financial aid.

There is a music club, a photography club, robotics club and many more clubs on the campus. The students from different cultural groups organise different interesting events which keeps the campus environment enthusiastic. All the festivals are celebrated with great joy at SRM.

The campus life at SRM becomes interesting because of the student’s communities, the extracurricular activities boost the confidence of the students. SRM is one of the best colleges in India.
