We had a few societies but now there are a lot of clubs and associations. The popular clubs include VVCE Ted talk, Under 25 VVCE, Book club, Cultural Club, and VVCE FM.
The annual fest is Vidyuth, other than that there are department fests, Book club events, Technica events happening from time to time.
Life in college is pretty chilled out.
There was one hostel each for girls and boys. The fee is charged per year inclusive of accommodation and food.
There are a lot of PG's nearby. Few are at a walkable distance and a few nearby.
Food in the college hostel is decent and there is a canteen and a cafe inside the campus.
Classrooms and corridors have CCTV cameras and are supervised periodically. Classrooms are spacious and well ventilated with huge windows. Labs and Libraries are well equipped and the wifi facility is available on each floor. Washrooms are available on each floor and are well maintained.
College timings vary from semester to semester.
Ideally, the classes start at 8.30 am and each class is of 1-hour duration, it ends at 5 pm.
There will be regular assignments that you have to complete in order to get marks allotted for the assignment section. They usually hire Vtu rank holders or gold medalists as lecturers. The staff has a lot of subject knowledge.

I got in through COMED-K as my CET ranking was not that great.
As soon as you get your COMED-K results you will be asked to attend the counselling. The availability of seats depends on the choices made by the candidates who have scored a better ranking than you.
If your COMED-K ranking is less than 20k then you will get a seat in ECE. But this will vary every year.
NSC camp which is going to help society, which will be conducted once in a week. Since from the year I have joined only 1 event has been taken place for 3 days, I didn't notice any more events, In general, I'm adjusted a bit since I stay in hostel loneliness will be there sometimes.

There are many pgs available near campus for both boys and girls. There is a CCD and food court on campus and cost is average. Food is good. The qualities of all the above mentioned are good.
Mon-Sat on an average 8.30 am - 5 pm. Where there will be 3 labs per week of 3 hrs each. There will be 3 internals, 3 module test which covers the assignment and main exam per semester. Quality of teaching is good and they will provide notes. My overall experience is good.

College is NAAC A grade credited. And no. 1 VTU college in Karnataka (mostly) And they are autonomous now.
Admission is through KCET, COMEDK and management. For CET (FOR CS COURSE) OBC-Cuttoff rank was 14000. Then the intake was 120. Now the intake has increased to 180. The admission procedure is the same as other colleges. Hostel facilities are available.
There are various clubs in the college including a quiz club and a Toastmasters club, club activities are strictly after class activities and students have to conduct or attend clubs on their own time. certain clubs are department specific and students from other departments cannot join these clubs. the college has one cultural fest called 'Vidyuth' conducted every year during the month of April.
The college is located in a very good locality with easy access to public transport, it has a boys and girls hostel inside the campus and there are plenty of PG's located around the college. the college has a decent canteen with a variety of options, the canteen is strictly vegetarian, a coffee day cafe is also located inside the campus. there is a basketball court and volleyball court but no proper grounds for people to practice other sports. the classrooms are spacious and all of them are fitted with projectors .the entire campus is WIFI enabled. Computers and lab equipment are relatively modern and are serviced regularly.
VV College of Engineering is one of the best engineering colleges under VTU in Karnataka. it recently acquired NAAC certification which makes getting a degree in this college more valuable. the faculty are all qualified lecturers with 5-6 years of teaching experience and all the HOD's hold doctorates in their respective fields. the syllabus is set by VTU and the college follows it accordingly.
The fee structure is divided into 3 categories depending on the type of admission, if it is through CET the fee is generally 40000- 50000 rupees, if the admission is through COMED K the fees is generally 2-3 lakh rupees if the admission is through management quota the fees can range from 3-5 lakhs. Scholarships are offered by the college to toppers of their respective branches and other government scholarships can be also be availed by other students depending on their social background and economic status.
Placements generally cater to the IT sector and most companies that come for placements are generally software companies, the average pay package offered is 3-5 lakhs per annum. Internships are not offered by the campus but students are encouraged to find internships on their own during vacations.
The entrance exams for joining vidya vardhaka college of engineering is fairly simple and straight forward. Students can enrol by scoring good marks and getting the cutoff required in KCET conducted by the state government. The other less competitive but more expensive option would be the COMEDK UGET exam conducted by the state government. The last option would be getting admission through management quota where you pay really high fees depending on the course you wish to pursue and there is no written examinations or cutoff requirements.
