Fees & Scholarships : Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, [VVCE] Mysore Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 1.7 Lakh per annum. The fee structure is revised every year and there is a scholarship option for students who score well and students belonging to SC/ST/OBC communities. Educational loans can be availed from nationalized banks where the interest rates will be lower than that of private banks.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : You can get your admission done through 3 quotas CET COMED-K Management (you must have CET or COMED-K ranking) I got in through COMED-K as my CET ranking was not that great. As soon as you get your COMED-K results you will be asked to attend the counselling. The availability of seats depends on the choices made by the candidates who have scored a better ranking than you.  If your COMED-K ranking is less than 20k then you will get a seat in ECE. But this will vary every year.

Placements & Internships : I did my internship from Vivartan Technologies as a part of the VLSI course conducted by them on campus without stipend. Placements increased exponentially every year. The key companies are Infosys, EY, L&T, Scientific games, Wipro, L&T infotech, First American, Intime tech, Trasccon, etc. The salary package ranges from  INR 2.6 LPA to INR 5.5 LPA. In our batch of over 100 students from ECE, more than 52 got placed in campus interview.

Academics & Faculty : College timings vary from semester to semester. Ideally, the classes start at 8.30 am and each class is of 1-hour duration, it ends at 5 pm. There will be regular assignments that you have to complete in order to get marks allotted for the assignment section. They usually hire Vtu rank holders or gold medalists as lecturers. The staff has a lot of subject knowledge.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There was one hostel each for girls and boys. The fee is charged per year inclusive of accommodation and food. There are a lot of PG's nearby. Few are at a walkable distance and a few nearby.  Food in the college hostel is decent and there is a canteen and a cafe inside the campus. Classrooms and corridors have CCTV cameras and are supervised periodically. Classrooms are spacious and well ventilated with huge windows. Labs and Libraries are well equipped and the wifi facility is available on each floor. Washrooms are available on each floor and are well maintained.

Clubs & Associations : We had a few societies but now there are a lot of clubs and associations. The popular clubs include VVCE Ted talk, Under 25 VVCE, Book club, Cultural Club, and VVCE FM. The annual fest is Vidyuth, other than that there are department fests, Book club events, Technica events happening from time to time. Life in college is pretty chilled out.
