University Colege of Engineering, [UCE] Hyderabad became the 6th university to be established in British India after the formation of Osmania University. The university was made autonomous in 1994. On an average, there is a yearly intake of 320 undergraduates, 140 part-time students and 290 postgraduate students who are enrolled for full-time and part-time basis. The faculty has 109 teachers including 24 professors. The departments also receive grants for research and modernization from UGC, DST, MHRD and AICTE.
