Dhruva College of Management was founded in 1995 by Dr Pratap Reddy. The college is located amidst an 800-acre reserve forest in the suburbs of Hyderabad. Dhruva established Axis Hyderabad Indian Management Systems Academy [AHIMSA] to pursue leadership development among the students based on the values of Indian Ethics and Tradition. The college has the largest number of books among all the autonomous B-Schools in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is India's first not for profit B-School founded by a management professor.

Dhruva College of Management Courses are offered in Post Graduate Diploma in Management [PGDM]. The college offers a residential program and hostel facility is provided to all the students. If the students cannot stay in the hostel, transport facility is provided to the students in the form of Buses. Students are encouraged to participate in Management fests and an annual fest called 'Muqabla' is conducted to showcase their talents, they are also encouraged to collaborate and compete with other B-Schools and attend competitions.

 Management:

Dhruva College of Management offers a degree in Post Graduate Diploma in Management. The subjects are taught over a period of 6 Trimesters. The curriculum also includes Soft Skills Training, Foreign and English Language Proficiency, Personality Development etc. Students are also encouraged to take part in co-curricular activities such as Blood Donation, Toast Masters Club, NGO Assistance, Litter Removal, Traffic Safety and Women Empowerment. The College also maintains close ties with industries and also offered to let industries set up sub-urban centres in its campus.
