Surendra Institute of Engineering and Management was established in the year of 2009 under the management of the charitable society Bidya Bharati Foundation. The main objective of the institute is to provide world-class infrastructure and quality education to students of North Bengal and its adjoining areas. It provides comprehensive learning opportunities through experiential methods to the students. The college stresses the all-around development of students and staff. The institute also provides scholarships on merit-based scholarships to attract young minds to this institute. The college has tie-ups with some public sector banks for loan facilities for the students.
