Library

• Surendra Institute of Engineering and Management library offers about 20,000 volumes, including textbooks, reference books & international journals, etc. The library is a veritable powerhouse of knowledge.
• The library provides fully computerised services, and database acquisition created using “LIBSYS-4” software. 
• SIEM Siliguri has a high-tech library that serves the information needs related to engineering and management.
• The book database is accessible through OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue). Circulation services are executed through the Barcode system.

Computer Centre: Surendra Institute of Engineering & Management has chosen a system based on high-end servers and workstations. It has spacious and fully-equipped lecture halls that are unique and one of a kind; these can accommodate 60+ students. These are designed to provide complete comfort during the intense hours of classroom teaching and interaction. Windows and Linux provide the interconnection and exchange of information between the various systems, thereby providing the students and faculty a work environment adapted to their requirements and the latest technology reflecting the standards of the computer industry.

Computers, LAN and Software

• The college has a wide range of softwares, including a Campus Agreement with Microsoft, which has been installed to enable the students in mastering the many computer languages and learn to master any new technology.

Lecture Hall: Surendra Institute of Engineering and Management lab is connected to the internet, providing unlimited internet access to students and faculty members. All the offices, labs, and cabins of faculty are provided internet connectivity 24x7.

Seminar Hall: Surendra Institute of Engineering and Management infrastructure houses a state of the art seminar hall with a seating capacity of 250 people and offers a theatre-style facility to students. The hall is well-equipped with a projector for various presentations, a quality sound system, and screen videos related to various subjects.

Transportation: Surendra Institute of Engineering and Management transport facility is available for the students and members of the staff for regular conveyance. The SIEM Siliguri buses operate from main locations in the city and also on the outskirts.

Cafeteria: The cafeteria serves healthy and hygienic snacks and meals to the students at nominal rates. There is a separate cafeteria at SIEM for the faculty and office staff.

Wi-Fi Facilities: The students have access to free Wi-Fi in the college library to facilitate a comprehensive e-learning environment.

ATM: Surendra Institute of Engineering and Management facilities include an ATM of the Union Bank of India right outside the college gate, making transactions easy for students and staff.

Guest House: The college provides guest room facilities for students’ parents, relatives, and guests coming to meet their wards. They can avail of the facility for a brief stay and meals from the hostel mess and cafeteria. However, they are charged a reasonable amount for the same.
