St. Joseph's College of Engineering & Technology was established in 2002. This college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE]  and affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. SJCET is One of the Top five self-financing colleges in Kerala. The college has an uninterrupted power supply and abundant natural water source.

It has a beautiful, neat, Eco-friendly campus with no unsafe plastic materials with excellent approach road form all places. It has a fully automated service on the campus. Mar Joseph Kallarangatt is the Bishop of Palai and Patron of the College. He had his higher studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome and took a doctorate in Theology. Applications for SJCET MBA admissions are accepted from the end of April every year.

College Infrastructure

There are 4 hostels - 2 for girls and 2 for boys. Hostel fee is about INR 3000/- per month. Canteen (2) facility and a cafeteria are available inside the campus. It costs about ₹40 per meal. Good infrastructure - good quality classrooms, labs. Library, canteen, etc. Wi-Fi facility is provided within the campus.

Now class time 9am to 3. 30 pm. At my time college time was 8. 30 am to 4. 30pm. Average is quality teaching. Over all just ok

Fees and Scholarship

INR 75k is the fee. Those who are not from good finance background may get scholarship if they have a rank below INR 8 k. Up to 10 students in a class of 60 may get scholarship. Loans are required. But i havent taken any loan

College Infrastructure

We have gents and ladies hostels and separate hostel for first year's alone. The hostel fee is around INR.55000 per annum. The food in our college is just awesome we have non veg and veg and we have delicious non veg food every day except Friday. The mess fees is included in our regular hostel fees and are compulsory for everyone.

 

Academics & Faculty
  • My college starts at 8:00 AM and goes till 3:00 PM we have the lunch break at 1:00 PM we have a lot of exams.
  • Our college has excellent faculty.
  • Overall experience in my college is fantastic but we have some very strict rules and a lot of exams, but  I enjoy my college life, they give great importance to sports.

College Infrastructure The infrastructure of the college definately stands out. The classrooms and the auditorium are spacious enough. Library and playgrounds are also good and well maintained. Placements & Internships The placement cell works well and ensures the placement of most of the students of the college. Even the alumni network is well established one and they hold regular get togethers.
