Placement Cell :-The placement unit of College of Engineering is a voluntary organization headed by the placement officer and assisted by student representatives from all the departments. The placement Unit is functioning together with the Entrepreneurship Development Club. They together organize lectures, seminars, group discussions, mock interviews, industry visits etc for career guidance, entrepreneurship and personality development. The placement cell gives training, arranges programs and conduct recruitment drives. The training is given in to prepare resumes, to present self introduction, to face interviews and to participate in group discussions.The cell provides information’s to students about opportunities in different companies profiles of this companies and their recruitment schedule. The cell organizes recruitment drives of reputed companies in the college itself with the help of the students. Facilities :- Library CE Poonjar has a well furnished library and information centre which stacks with a lot of books of interest including technical text books in various subjects, various journals, magazines and news papers of national and international standards. The library has a collection over 5000 volumes of books .There are photocopying and internet facility in the centre .Besides an e-book centre having about 500 titles is a part of library and information centre. The library has two functional parts. Books are issued for a period of 14 days to students. It can be renewed for a further period of 14 days. More than 200 readers can be accommodated in the library at a time. Fully automated and most modernized library includes a Digital Library section and Internet facility. The centre provides information services such as current affairs awareness, selective dissemination of information, e-learning etc. Library will be kept open on all working days from 9am to 5pm.Library Cards are issued to all members of the library for borrowing books. - I have done internships in various industries as a non-paid trainee.
- I have gained more practical knowledge than what books could give me.
- My teachers and college authorities were very much interested in helping me and clearing the formalities from college for doing internships.
- We do have recruitments every year. Around 50-70% students get placed every year.
- Some of the companies which hire students from our college are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, IBM, Mu Sigma, 6d Technologies, etc.
- So far we have got offers for Rs.4 lakh per annum.
- We have a strong and well setup alumni. Even now, they contribute to the welfare of the college financially and by assisting the students in doing their projects and preparing them for recruitments.
- Our course fee is Rs.35,000 for government seats and Rs.65,000 for management seats.&l

- Class timing is from 9:30am to 4:20pm. I'm studing in 4th semester computer science batch. We have no projects in this semester and exams are going well. There are two assignments in each semester for each subjects(out of six).
- The method of teaching is different in our college. We express our ideas related to the topic given to us.
- Quite Different. In my experience college life is fundemental part of our career. Nt only career,it's the first step of our life. Our college gives us a better experience.
- Fee is Rs 35000 per year, because i'm merit seated. Management students in our college will pay Rs 65000 per year.
- Many schoolarships are available in the college.(eg:Central Sector Scholarship)
