Daily routine is like class starts from 8.45 am and it is till 5.05 pm. as our course is vast so includes practicals also lab are also taking place for each subject for around 4 hrs. There is now sadness for work.
Assignment should be given on time. And even tests are also taken during class. Its all like school Quality and method of teaching is too awesome .teachers are too cooperative.

The eligibility criteria for my college is: Candidate should pass 10+2 exam with the minimum percentage in PCB is 60%. There is no entrance exam for this course in any college of DU. The typical cuttoff for this course is 96% in PCB
Class timing is from 8:45 to 5:05 with breaks, There is too much work of project, practicals and assignment, but after doing that there is not much time left for studies of exams, Teaching quality is very good, teachers provide notes and also explain each and every topic clearly. My overall experience is still excellent in this college.
The course fee is Rs. 13000 per anum. The fee is not much so there is no scholarship in this college but yes if you have excellent result then you obviously awarded by some rewards.
There is placement cell and also there is internship fair took place every year in which different companies hire many students and provide a letter of recommendation after internship and there is also stipend based internship.
Venkateswara college is under top 10 colleges,it has best faculty of zoology department,there is a cut off system for admission in zoology (Hons.) course,cut off can be gone up to 85% for gen category..
There are various numbers of societies in the SVC. Like the Western Music Society, the Indian Music Society, the Choreography Society, the Art Society, the Debate Society, the English Dramatic Society, etc. The main festival of the College is called the Nexus, it happens every year around February-March. Celebrities are invited for the special star nights. Also, there are department fests that the departments host. The college life, in general, is happening and filled with excitement.
There are two hostels-the boys and the girl's hostels. They cost is around INR 16k per quarter. The average rent per person for a PG facility is around INR 6k. The quality of classrooms are good and there are fully air-conditioned labs, fully-seated libraries, dining halls, wifi and other facilities in the campus.
Usually, the classes start from 8.45 AM to 6.05PM in the evening. The CBCS curriculum prevails, in which 75 marks weightage is given to the theory examinations, 20 for Internal Assessments and a 5 for Attendance. The quality and method of teaching are one of the top 10 in the Delhi University. My overall experience in college has been enjoyable.

Infrastructure is good here.they have a good number of hostels in the college itself. and at very low-cost also.and if you can't able to get a room in the college hostel don't worry. surrounding area is full of PGs there.

Despite its reputation and ability to make students good here.it asks for a very low and reasonable fees.no course have fees higher than INR 16k in this college per year. fees range from INR 10,000-INR 16,000 per year for different courses. You get a scholarship as well depending on your performance in academics or sports activities.
Many companies are coming here every year to give internships. Among all the colleges in south campus. this college getting a gathering of a huge number of very famous companies like Samsung, apple, whirlpool, LG etc. They often give students a good salary.
The college has societies for nearly all kinds of stuff like there is western dance society, Indian dance society, dramatics society, music society, yoga society and so on. Every year an annual fest is arranged for 3 days. Celebrity stars are invited. The college witnesses a whole different vibe.
The college has its own hostel. But the no of seats available is very less. Seats are given to students on merit and distance basis. The hostel fees are INR 6000 per month. Just opposite of our college is a market and a residential area. There PGs of all kind is available. But the environment of that market is not healthy at all. The college's infrastructure is quite nice.
The college has really good teaching staff. Teachers are very supportive and strict at the same time which is very good. The teaching style is very interesting. Each class is of 1 hour. Overall it is very nice.
Sri Venkateshwara college is affiliated with the Delhi University. And this college gets most of its fund from south Indian temples which they get as donations. So the fees it very pocket-friendly. For BCom(p) the fees are INR 10000 per year.
The best thing about this college is that it has a wonderful society called The Placement Cell. This society calls different organizations and corporations and conducts proper tests and interviews. I was also a part of it. Every CA aspirant has to do an article of about 3 years and the society calls the big fours to the college for hiring students. This is really very helpful.
I took admission in the year 2016. That time the first cut off was 97% and I had an aggregate of 98.5%. Earlier I went to some other college but my sister insisted that I should go to this college and so I did. Admission procedure was a bit long but the staff and seniors were very supportive and friendly.

However, they all follow rigorous recruitment procedures which can get the best out of you.
The faculty is very good here. There is a common belief that if Venky was on the north campus then it would have been the best college which shows that its faculty is one of the best. English faculty particularly is very good. The faculty is quite young but very qualified nonetheless. The Commerce faculty is very strict. It has one of the best faculties when it comes to Mathematics. (Hons.)
I will rate it 9/10.The campus is huge. They have a quintessential Delhi type campus. The campus is huge with amazing lawns. They have state-of-the-art lecture halls, good library, and even an auditorium.The lecture halls are well ventilated and students don't need air-conditioners.
Hostel facility is also available but there are few takers. Classrooms, corridors, washrooms are very clean. Area of the canteen and washrooms are very hygienic. Now our college is constructing barriers for blind students. Our college also has a temple. The playground is quite big, that also acts as a field for outsiders.
Our college societies are the best across DU circuit. I am a part of various such societies such as the filmmaking one. Our main fest is just around the corner, NEXUS which is the pretty big event.
The hostel is divided into two wings, one for the boys and another one for girls. Around 2 students from each course are accommodated and the overall living conditions are pretty good. The infrastructure is quite good with efficient labs.
The classes for science students go from 9 am to 4 pm. The quality is never compromised and you will end up learning a lot if you get in tiuch with our professors.
My course fees are INR 14,000 per year. There are lots of scholarships available for various merit students both in academics and extra curricular. Loans don't play many roles in the payment of fees since it's pretty cheap and affordable.
I have done around 4 internships related to content writing. Mainly the consultancy firms such as KPMG are the key companies which hire students from our college. The salary offered is divided into various categories and generally goes around INR 8 lakh p.a.
The eligibility criteria for the course was completing plus 2 from any recognized boards or equivalent. There were no entrance examinations for my course as it was a merit-based admission procedure which is very similar to various non-professional courses around India. The typical cut off of my course goes around 93% for General 90 for OBC 88 for SC/St.
The course fee is very negligible as it is government college. And there are scholarships available for those who belong to lower income groups.

The college starts at 9 am. A lecture goes up too 1 hour. All teachers are very helpful and new techniques and methods are used for teaching.

The admission procedure is based on the cut off list which is issued by the DU every year. All those students who are eligible for cut off can get admission in college. The cut off for my course is above 80%.
