Kakatiya University School of Distance Learning and Continued Education offers courses undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The B.L.I.Sc offered here is a Professional Degree. The Personal Contact Programme (PCP) of the institute organizes for some Contact Programmes on Sundays or holidays to give students an opportunity to attain a better understanding of the difficult areas in their subjects, in a physical classroom experience to facilitate it better.

At the undergraduate level the institute offers 6 different courses with variations in some of them. These are mainstream courses such as B.Com, B.Ed, B.A, B.Sc. and  BBA. A variant of B.Com with a specialization in Computers is also offered. Subjects offered to pursue B.Sc degree in, include Mathematics and Psychology. The B.A course is of a general nature with three available combinations: History-Political Science-Psychology / Economics-Political Science-Psychology / Sociology-political Science-Psychology.
The B.L.I.Sc is a Professional Course offered by the institute.

The average duration of the undergraduate courses is 3-years except the case of B.Ed which is a 2-year course and B.L.I.Sc which is a 1-year course. The fees for these courses is in the range of INR 3,000 - 7,000 depending on the course. Eligibility is passing in the 10+2 examinations, the M.Sc courses require PCM subjects or as determined by the college.

The postgraduate programme at the institute offers 5 courses namely, M.A, MTM, M.S.W, M.Sc. and M.Com. The Master of Science course is offered in Psychology and Mathematics. The Master of Arts course can be availed in several specialization subjects such as Journalism, Hindi, Political Science, Public Administration and such others adding up to a total of 12 subjects.

The average duration of the postgraduate courses is 2-years. The fees for these courses is in the range of INR 4,000 - 12,000 depending on the course. Eligibility is UG studies in the relevant fields and subjects.
