B.Arch admissions are done on the basis of national-level architecture exam NATA or equivalent. Students can apply based on 3 categories namely KCET, COMEDK, or Management Quota. Listed below are the details for the same.

RV College of Architecture B.Arch Eligibility Criteria

Students having domicile of Karnataka can apply through KCET counseling for B.Arch admission at RV College of Architecture, [RVCA] Bangalore. They must have scored at least 50% marks in the Intermediate examination. Students can also apply through COMEDK counseling with at least 80 marks out of 200 in NATA. Additionally, they must have Mathematics as a subject in their higher secondary education (10+2) with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC). Apart from KCET and COMEDK basis, admissions are also offered through management quota. The student is given admission also based on scores in NATA or JEE Paper-II. • Must have passed 11th standard with a minimum of 65% marks in Physics and Mathematics separately
• The candidate should have passed 12th (If results are announced) with at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and 50% in aggregate
• The applicant should have compulsorily passed NATA or JEE Paper II

B.Arch selection process is done based on merit followed by entrance test scores. Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination. Also, they must have appeared in any one of the exams such as KCET, COMEDK, NATA, or JEE Paper-II.

Admissions to M.Arch. courses are given through PGCET, GATE, or Management quota. For successful M.Arch admission, applicants must meet the eligibility requirements and they must go through the prescribed selection process. 

RV College of Architecture M.Arch Eligibility Criteria 

Students having a valid PGCET score can apply for admission to M.Arch programme at RV College of Architecture admission. They must be a graduate in B.Arch with at least 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates can also apply for an M.Arch through the management quota. They must have at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST). Foreign nationals are required to have their degrees acknowledged by the Association of Indian Universities. They should appear in PGCET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority), the announcement for which is usually done in the month of May/ June. Applicants with a valid GATE score are also eligible to apply.

Admission to M.Arch is done based on merit followed by entrance exam scores. The applicants must have passed the last qualifying examination for admission. The selection to M.Arch admission is also done through PGCET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) or GATE scores.

The admission process is different for both B.Arch as well as M.Arch programme. Admission through Management quota is purely based on merit in the qualifying examination for both B.Arch and M.Arch. Apart from the admission through Management quota, B.Arch admission is conducted based on the marks obtained in KCET and COMED-K NATA/ JEE Paper-II. Apart from the admission through the Management quota, M.Arch admission is done through PGCET. Once the admission is confirmed, applicants can pay the admission fee as per RVCA fee structure.
