Placements & Internships : I have not done any internship anywhere since our college did not help us. Also i wasn't selected in the external ones. Some key companies like TCS and Cognizant used to come but now almost no key companies come. Hardly 50 students get placed in IT sectors with a salary of around 25k per month. I am not so aware about the alumni network.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I got into this college through WBJEE. My rank was 14532. In the recent years the rank is around 20k. I believe but other colleges take students within 10k Rank.

Fees & Scholarships : Course fee per year is approximately INR 80,000. Students who are from SC,ST category get huge cut down in their fees. There is no such scholarship if they are from general category. I,fortunately did not need a loan,so i do not know well about it.

Academics & Faculty : The class timing is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a half an hour break which too the teachers usually take the classes. There is no such great help in projects. Assignments, as usual, are of the copy and paste method since we aren't taught in such advanced way to get through the assignments ourselves. We are usually taught in projectors but few teachers prefer to teach on the board. Very few teachers are there who know the subject properly and can interact with the student easily.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are NO hostels in the college. The external students live in nearby PGs. Their monthly rent is around 3000-5000 approximately with some more than that. The food in the canteen is horrible.Though it is affordable and many students eat beacuse they have no other choice,but it is not acceptable at all. The food in the cafeteria is somewhat good but a little costly. The classrooms have projectors. The labs do not have AC,and also do not have maximum equipment. The libraries are good. We do not have any dining hall. We have wifi available now. We do not have any proper sports ground. There is no infrastructure for girls to play.

Clubs & Associations : There are the alumni group,fashion and dance group,etc. Though i don't think they are active enough. The main fests are techtrix(techfest), game of thrones(sports fest) and regalia(cultural fest). College life,for me atleast is very boring. Not sure about the the marijuana smokers along the pond but for me and also for many others college is nothing but a burden. Students here are not that friendly. Most of the seniors are friendly only when you agree to pay rs 1000 for fests and pay anytime anywhere for any other activity they ask for.
