The students and college organize the following activities:

• Freshers Welcome:  Every year, the freshmen are welcomed to the institution by their seniors with a cultural festival called BIHAAN.
• Technical Fest:  Every year, college students host Techtrix, a technical fest that sharpens their technological talents. These include competitions in software, paper presentations, programming in several languages, technical quizzes, robotics, and debate. The tournaments attract technical colleges from across the state. As part of the program, seminars and displays are held.
• Cultural Fest: Regalia, the college's annual fest, is organized by the students every year. Students from various institutions engage in theatre, choreography, quizzes, solo and group singing competitions, fashion displays, war of bands, and a variety of other activities. Skilled artists from all genres are invited to make it more exciting. The students are entertained by a number of well-known bands and singers. Aside from the main festival, various cultural programs are held throughout the year in which students can showcase their talents.
• Sports: Intra-college and inter-college sports events are organized by the students for table tennis, cricket, football, and carrom.
• Student Linux User Group (SLUG): Students' Linux User Group (SLUG) meets at the college to discuss Linux, its uses, applications, and difficulties, as well as FOSS in general.

RCC Institute of Information Technology has all the basic facilities, some of which are mentioned below:

Classrooms: The classrooms are very spacious and well-equipped.

Library: To meet the needs of the students, the library operates a reprographic centre. Aside from the librarian and other library employees, there is an 8-member library committee comprised of the librarian and faculty representatives from all departments, including the principal, who work tirelessly to provide the best possible service to the students. The library, as the institute's "heart," receives top attention in terms of development and resource expansion.
