Eligibility for M.Tech (Food Technology):
- Candidates who have completed graduation and must qualify GATE or MIT-PGCET examination are eligible to apply
Eligibility for M.Tech (Construction Engineering):
- Candidates should have to complete their Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture or any relevant field with a minimum 50% aggregate of marks from recognized university/ Institution.
Eligibility for M.Tech (Biotechnology):
- Candidates who have completed Higher Secondary School with a minimum 50% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical/ Vocational subjects.
Eligibility for M.Tech (By Research):
- A candidate shall possess B.E or B. Tech degree and should have passed with at least 55% aggregate marks of all 8 semesters (CGPA 6.0).
- The candidate should have a minimum working experience of three years after graduation.
- For Institute research project staff should have minimum – 2 years of experience after graduation.
Candidate Categories:
The status of all the candidates admitted to the M. Tech (Research) programme shall be classified under any one of the following categories without any financial assistance:
- Candidates paid by Government/ Semi-Government organizations / QIP.
- Sponsored candidates.
- Institute faculty, staff & project staff of the Institute.
- Faculty, staff & project staff of the other Institute approved by AICTE/ UGC.
Selection Procedure:
- A candidate who satisfies the prescribed criteria shall appear for PERA Exam/ entrance exam conducted by the University.
- The candidates will be called for counselling on the scheduled date.
Eligibility for M.Tech (Engineering):
- Candidate must have a graduate degree (B.E/ B.Tech) for the respective programme from a recognized/ approved University.
- Candidate should have a Non-Zero Score in GATE - 2020/ PERA 2020 (Preeminent Education & Research Association).
