IGNOU Scholarships

IGNOU, New Delhi, offers scholarships to eligible applicants. Candidates must meet the eligibility conditions set by the college to avail the scholarship facility. More details regarding the IGNOU scholarship are given below.

  • Students can also avail themselves of other Indira Gandhi National Open University scholarships provided by the Government of India.
  • A 50% fee concession will be offered to the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan [KVS] employees.
  • As per the rules of the IGNOU Delhi university, the learners belonging to any of the reserved categories, jail inmates, physically handicapped, transgenders, etc., are offered fee exemptions.
  • The National Centre for Promotion of Employment of Disabled People [NCPEDP] scholarship scheme applies to IGNOU postgraduate students.

Fee Exemption for SC, ST students under the SCSP and TSP Schemes

The fee exemption is valid for the academic programs mentioned below.

  • All the programs under the certificate and diploma level [undergraduate, postgraduate, advanced].
  • Candidates enrolled in the Bachelor Preparatory Program [BPP].
  • Candidates who have freshly registered in BDP [BA, B.Sc, B.Com], BSW, Nursing, BTS, B.Ed, and B.LiS.
  • Re-registered students of the freshly/ second semester of BCA.
  • Re-registered students of BDP, BSW, Nursing, BTS, B.Ed, and B.LiS.
  • Freshly registered and Re-registered students of research programs [M.Phil or PhD].

8k is the fee for 1 year. There are scholarships for under privileged students as well. 30-40% get scholarship. Not as such need for loans

Bca couse fees in other colloges in high but in ignou you want to pay INR 6000 for per semester and exam fees INR 120 for per exam.
