Admission Process
Given below are the steps to apply for admission at IIT Madras:
- Visit the official website for GATE COAP registration- https://iitk.ac.in/coap2024/index
- Click on the registration tab and enter information like their date of birth, GATE paper code, GATE registration number, and GATE score.
- Enter the registered email address and phone number by clicking the "Validate" icon.
- Select "Submit to Register" from the menu.
- Following a successful COAP 2024 registration, candidates will receive a COAP login ID and password. Both email and SMS will be used to send the same.
- The candidates must log in with their login ID and password and confirm the registration information for their COAP registration to be deemed complete.
- The candidate can obtain information on offers made by the participating Institutes after completing the previously mentioned stages.
- The acceptance offer will ultimately be published to the COAP website and marked with the COAP registration number (which is the same as the GATE registration number without the topic code).
It is important to note that COAP is not an Application Portal for M.Tech admission in any participating institute. The aspirants must apply separately to the Indian Institute of Technology Madras for M.Tech admission.
