Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology Chennai was established in 2008. RIT is accredited with the highest grade of A++ by NAAC. RIT is affiliated with Anna University Chennai. It is one of the AICTE-approved colleges in Chennai New Delhi, and also offers NBA-approved courses. Admission to the various courses offered by the institute is done based on TNEA Counselling (B.E/ B.Tech) and entrance exams.

RIT Chennai Admission

Admission for BE/B. Tech is initiated by filling up an online application form on the official website and filling in all the relevant information. The candidates can also download the application form online from the official website or collect it from the campus and submit it to the institute via post or in person. The selection criteria for the courses are based on the marks scored on TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission), a state-level entrance examination.

RIT Chennai Eligibility Criteria

The college currently offers B.E. and B.Tech courses under 4 and 3 specializations respectively. Candidates from Tamil Nadu state who have completed their 10+2 level from another state must produce a certificate of Nativity to seek admission under the community quota.
